Really yummy, but overpriced ice cream. Chicken and Wild Rice soup is fantastic, unfortunately they rarely serve it anymore. They are big on potato and dumpling type soups. It’s a quality place, but not great selection. Also, they often only have one soup available. It’s more is an ice cream place. Yummy ice cream for sure!
This is a fun place for sandwiches, soups and ice cream. It's become one of my favorite eating spots in Old Town.

Bought what I thought was a loaf on Max's Whole Wheat bread, it wasn't and it's the dryest, most tastless bread I've ever had!
Best milkshakes around
Parking: It can be difficult to find parking during events or busy hours. You may have to walk a little bit, but that’s part of the charm of Old Town Clovis, the window shopping.

I know this place is a staple in old town. I’ve wanted to love it and man have I tried, but time after time I get terrible service. Most of the time I can brush it off but this most recent bad experience really broke my heart. I work in special education and we walked a group of our severely disabled kiddos over from a local school for an end of the year treat. The lady working was older and one of the least friendly people I have ever met. I had to prop the door open to push one of my students in a wheelchair through and was promptly scolded that I needed to close the door (which of course I was planning on doing once I got my student through the doorway). Some of our students were having difficulty eating ice cream off of the cones so I asked for a few bowls and spoons and was told that I would have to pay for them. I don’t know, our students don’t get to go out into the community much and it just broke my heart that this lady couldn’t even greet them with a warm hello, let alone a smile. Unfortunately this was not the first time that I’ve had a negative experience with soups and scoops but it will be my last. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is because the ice cream is actually pretty good and they are generous with scoop sizes.
Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids but don’t expect them to be welcomed warmly by employees. Kind of unusual for an ice cream shop…

The hospitality is out of this world. I go to scoops Monday through Friday to have breakfast. And I have the most amazing bagel, eggs and cheese. I don't use bacon but it's offered. They also carry Rosa brothers, milk products. And I always have banana milk. They're also known for their Fresno. State ice cream every bit of it is amazing.Scoops is located in the Old Town. Clovis has a great atmosphere. And you meet people after people.

24 dollars for the following: kids hot dog, kids miniture ice cream, and polish dog prolly from costco. prices are extremly high for what it is. The economy isnt the best, but if you have to charge this much for so little food something is wrong. Staff were

I was with two friends today and they had never been there before. I thought I was being friendly and asked what soups they had and I was told,“the sign is on the door”, and in another location. It would have been a shorter response to simply say minestrone but that wasn’t her reply. We tried to order a baked potato and another item and they were out of both of them. It seemed like she was irritated we were ordering food. We had fun sitting outside and visiting, but I won’t suggest we eat there again!

Amazing ice cream
In downtown Clovis is a great little ice cream shop, but they also have delicious soups and sandwiches. One of the most important pieces of information... the ice cream comes from Fresno State College dairy department and it beyond yummy.
The two young gentlemen who work there need serious training on food handling. We walked in while they were cleaning and touched our cones with their bare hands without washing their hands. Thats extremely unsanitary. We were so embarrassed to ask for them to wash their hands and so other customers wouldn't hear us complain. Please address that immediately or you will loose customers or cause someone to get sick. We ended up throwing away our cones.
