The food and customer service at this restaurant were excellent. I ordered lamb chops and beef barg, and both were incredibly delicious. The owner, Fred, was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back!

Horrible customer service. We have been supporting Tahdeeg Restaurant for quite some time. Today, we ordered the soltani, and when our food arrived, the meat was clearly overcooked. We kindly asked the waitress, Esmeralda, if it could be replaced with meat that was cooked less. She told us this was not possible and that we would have to pay for a new dish. She also claimed that we had eaten too much of it, which was untrue—we had no more than one small piece, as shown in the attached photo.

What upset me the most was the attitude and lack of professionalism during the encounter. The waitress repeatedly went back and forth with the head chef lady, openly gossiping about the situation. Persians take pride in hospitality and customer service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that standard. The issue was never about the money—it was about how the situation was handled. We love Persian restaurants and have the best experience at them— this was very unusual for us.

Leaving reviews is not my thing. For this place tho, it’s mandatory. I don’t know of a Persian restaurant in LA that’s at this level. This place is a hidden gem—can’t wait to bring my entire family back.

I think this might be the first review I’ve made on Google. That’s how good this place was. They start you out with a huge freshly made flat bread that’s perfectly warm and fluffy. I ordered the lamb shanks which was so flavorful and succulent and it paired really well with the pomegranate and saffron rice. The entire dish was this wonderful symphony of different flavors, sweet, tart, savory, tangy and textures: the tender meat, and the crispy tahdeeg rice. It all worked so well and no one thing was overpowering. It really felt like a home cooked meal made with love. And the combination of taste and texture continued with the pistachio ice cream which wasn’t overly sweet, slightly crunchy with little bits of chewy pieces in it and it paired so well with the crispy baklava which itself was amazing. Both of which were made in house. And to top it off the host was the sweetest older Persian man who made sure you had everything you needed. Seriously, go there, it will not disappoint.

We went here with open minds hoping to discover some good Persian food. While the service was decent, none of us really liked what we ordered for entrees. I ordered one of the only hot food entrees on the menu that had no meat, the pomegranate stew with rice. I rarely say I don't like something that I order, but that rice was super bland and the pomegranate stew was just not doing it for me. The pomegranate stew was sweet, which I thought was completely bizarre for the main part of an entree. Idk maybe I just wasn't used to it or something. The appetizer sampler we ordered was fantastic tasting though. For the price, I expect you would get more and flavorful food. I'm glad we tried it, but unfortunately none of us would really want to come back or recommend this place. I think what would help this place is if they were willing to serve alcohol, add more flavor to their food, and have more hot entree items on their menu for vegetarians.

High quality at a reasonable price.

First time traveling to Fresno and as always first stop, Persian Food! IT WAS SO SO SO GOOOD
As a Persian don’t make a mistake choosing any other foods in town😉
