I used to love going to this place. It was my go to place to pick up dinner before heading home after work. But I’m sorry the quality has come down. I don’t know if it’s a new cook or the people at the front don’t know how to take orders but after giving them three chances I stopped going to that place. Wrong order, cold food, hard flatbreads for the gyros….etc.

I've eaten here well over 200 times in my life. Tonight, I ordered 1 full salad, 1 half salad, and 2 chicken and rice bowls for my family, to go. I took it home, and when I opened it, they had forgotten all 4 pitas. Pretty annoying since now I had to figure out and make extra sides for dinner, which defeated the whole purpose of picking up dinner.

I was literally the only person in the restaurant when I ordered, so it was solely due to carelessness. Whatever, it happens. The real annoyance starts when I call and ask for a partial refund. The girl who I talked to on the phone was the one who packed my order, and knew she had forgotten them. She took my name and number and said next time I came in I'd get 4 free pitas. I told her I don't want that, because if I come in again to eat, I'm not going to want to eat 4 extra pitas on top of the food I'm already there to buy, so I wanted a partial refund. Seems like a simple, common sense thing.

I would've been happy with a $10 refund on the $50 meal, although personally, if it were my restaurant, I'd comp at least half of it for the inconvenience of forgetting something major that is included in basically every single meal sold. She said she had to call her boss and would call me back. No surprise, I never heard back. I'm not going to waste my time tracking people down. It's 2025, what a joke you can't just make things right instantly (I still had the receipt/transaction #/etc.) Simply pathetic policies and customer service, especially towards someone who has spent MANY thousands of dollars there over a decade.

I'm not sure why there are so many reviews saying the food isn't as good as it used to be. This was one of my favorite spots to eat when I lived in Clovis. I haven't had a chance to eat here in many, many years so I made sure to stop by when I was in town recently.

The food was just as good as I remembered. The chicken on my shawarma plate was tender and juicy. I ordered an extra salad on the side and the lettuce and veggies were very fresh. We got takeout, so the fries on the kebab plate weren't all that crispy when we got home, but they were still very tasty especially dipped in the garlic sauce or hummus. I will say that I noticed the pita bread has changed since I was last there maybe 7-8 years ago, but it was still good. The leftover pita bread we had maintained it's softness through to the next day.

After all these years The Broilers is still a solid spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner that won't leave you feeling heavy, full, or bloated like so many other fast-casual restaurants. I'm looking forward to my next visit to town so I can eat here again.

I never leave bad reviews, but I have also never been treated more poorly as a paying customer. I came in and purchased a large salad and a chicken plate to go. I got all the way home and they had left out my salad dressing and given me two whole wheat pita ( and I thought they gave two per order).
After going back, I went up to the female employee working and said that they had forgotten my dressing. She placed the dressing container down aggressively and just looked back at me. I asked her questions about the pita and she just acted like I was trying to get free food. She became super condescending and when I told her she was being rude, she told me that I needed to leave the establishment because I was being rude to her. She then told me I was entitled. I paid $30 for this food and had to make two trips to their store, only to be treated like a criminal over pita bread. While the food was just as good as normal, no paying customer should be treated this way, especially when it was their
error in the first place.

This review is directed to The Broilers on Palmdon & Herndon....Sooooo Disappointed!! Made an order to go and got home and only half of my order was in the bag. I call and let them know I only got half of my order and I was told "I noticed the rest of your order was missing but you left so quick" When your order is called and you get it you leave right?? I was then told "we can either remake it or you can come a different day" I explained I had to come get it as it was my father's food. I explained that I did not live close and how much of an inconvenience it was to drive all the way back to the restaurant and back home. On my way to the restaurant my daughter calls to let me know the extra pita bread I paid for is missing too. Fast forward I get to the restaurant I explained who I am and also shared that the extra pita bread I paid for was not in the bag either, just 2 salads and the dressings. The Mexican lady in the kitchen starts to argue and say they were in there, while I'm explaining they are not. So they throw extra pita bread(which were only 2 pieces, I still did not get the extra pita I bought), sauce, and the rest of my order in a bag and give me a dry "sorry". I will not return to this Broilers at this point they treated me like it was my fault THEY messed up on my order....Not a we apologize for the inconvenience, not even a we will compensate you what WE left out of your bag or how can we make this better.....just a "sorry". I won't be back unfortunately and it's sad because we love this place, however how you treat your customers determines if they will continue to support. 😒
