Manager lady, who says she's the owner & boss is very rude and disrespectful, needs to learn customer service skills. will never recommend this restaurant to anyone

Came to have lunch with sister on 8-24-24. It all started out fine, then cook comes out all sweaty like crazy. As he's cooking the rice, sweat is dripping from his face like crazy. He whips his face many times with towel hanging by the butter (disgusting). Oh that's not it, as he's he leans a bit , drops of sweat going into rice, I nudge at my sister, she sees the same. We got up walked over to the front and let them know what was happening. How disgusting is that, we didn't pay for our salad nor drink. I sure hope they said something because there were 3 other people at table.

Have had their tempanaki which is very good, especially the fries rice. This time had sushi ? ? which also was very good. So fresh and flavorful. There bento boxes are tasty also.

ate dinner here with my family and it was DELISH.
this is probably my favorite teppanyaki restaurant in the area!!!
rice is sooo yummy with bacon,
i got the filet and it was tender and flavorful. i loved my meal and i was STUFFED. they give you a lot of bang for your buck compared to other teppan places i have tried.
our chef was great and very entertaining. i really enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back compared to other ones i have tried.
our server was extremely attentive and gave us refills very frequently and we didn’t even have to ask once!
10/10 BEST TEPPAN EVER :)

I've been coming to this place for many years, like 10 years, a couple of times we've had bad cooks. TODAY WAS THE WORST. We had the cook named JAY today (07/26/24). OMG, food was burned, with no taste. He said he was cooking his way, doesn't like to put to much spices and changing things up. The sprouts were undercooked. He left the vegetables on the grill the whole time, and by the time he served it on the plate 2 hours later, it was crunchy and burned. He cooked the steak so burn and rubbery he had to re-cooked a new one. Rice was overcooked and greasy.

The worst was he kepted cleaning the grill with a dirty greasy towel, while cooking the food at the same time on it. He was also sweating, he would use a towel to wipe his sweat and then place it back on the food prep cart and continue to cook without washing his hands. So unsanitary!!!

I told the cashier I refuse to pay the gratuity and they made big fuss. Like if food was not good why was I taking it home. I told her I was going to feed it to my dog, (but instead, I gave it to a homeless person). She made it seem like I wanted free food, I just didn't want pay the gratuity. He didn't deserve no $8.00 tip for overcooked tasteless food. I also told her about Jay cleaning the grill with the dirty towel. She said it was normal to clean the grill and cooking tools. Other cooks have never done that, while cooking the food. So that was some bull. I guess wiping his sweat and not washing his hands. That normal too!!

I should of token a picture of the meat before Jay throw it away, and the vegetables before the waiter took the plate.

Jay needs to go back to dishwashing.

They lost my service, I won't be going there ever again.
