I had the absolute pleasure of working with Moreno's Bakery to plan a surprise birthday cake for my best friend. Gilbert is one the most talented and kindest bakers I have ever encountered. When I said my friend loves Shrek, he immediately started brainstorming ideas with me and offered to deliver the cake at no additional cost! The final product not only looked amazing but tasted amazing as well. One of the highlights of our birthday trip and definitely worth the price of his artistry. Thanks again Gilbert!

My son was planning to do his 25th birthday celebration in Coachella. Since the cartoon SpongeBob came out in 1999 on his actual birthday, he wanted a Spongebod themed 25th birthday party! Because I live in Northern California, I wanted to surprise him and his group of friends with a special delivered dessert. I looked at different bakeries in the area and I called Moreno's, hoping to find what I was looking for! I was so happy to be connected with Gilbert who did a wonderful job of helping me figure out what I should do for my son's special event! He suggested we do a cake and he would hand decorate the special SpongeBob theme that my son wanted. We decided on a marble cake with Oreo cookie filling, and vanilla cream cheese frosting. We also decided to do some Decorated SpongeBob. Sugar, cookies, and chocolate chip cookies! One of the most special things about this experience was Gilbert generously offerer to deliver the cookies in the morning ( for a delicious snack)and then he returned in the evening to deliver the cake. Gilbert went above and beyond to make sure my son felt special and were satisfied and happy customers. I will attach some photos of the cake so you can see how fabulously it was decorated. I would like to also add that my son said that the cake was beyond excellent and the cookies were so yummy! Thank you so much Gilbert and Moreno's bakery for such a wonderful experience for me and my son!

There are not enough accolades to describe this bakery and it’s owner/baker, Gilbert. The bakery goods were so yummy; cherry pie, chocolate cream pie, cinnamon rolls, cherry cheesecake, dinner rolls and his famous chocolate cake. My brother kept going on about how good the cherry pie crust was. The chocolate pies were gobbled down. The dinner rolls were divine. Every baked good we devoured was excellent. And that chocolate cake? Oh my! The best part about the whole experience was Gilbert. Gilbert was so accommodating adding to and changing the order while our family of 18 visited Coachella Valley. Such a sweet man. We were elated we found this bakery. Looking for an amazing bakery in Coachella Valley? THIS is the one!!!!

I was searching for someone to make a cherry pie for my husband for Father's Day. I can hold my own in the kitchen but I didn't want to burn the house down in my first attempt at baking a pie.I googled to see who does pies, not many places to my surpise. I came across Moreno's Bakery and gave him a call. He told me he could make a cherry pie. I gave 2 day notice for my order which he said he only needed 24 hours.When I picked it up, the pie looked beautiful! It was nice and warm. I know we should have eaten right away to avoid soggy crust but we didn't get a chance until hours later. To our surprise NO SOGGY Crust! The crust was sturdy, flaky and buttery. The pie filling wasn't overly sweet. It was a perfect balance. I'm beyond pleased with my order and more importantly my husband was so happy. I can't wait to place my next order.
