Definitely a great place to stop for a home cooked and delicious meal coming to or leaving the Yosemite area. Had breakfast with a family of nine and enjoyed it a lot. Small and not speedy but definitely worth it.

My parents are locals and I visit from LA regularly. Ownership changed and wow - the food is so good! We got pancakes, a scramble special and biscuits and gravy, and espresso drinks. I will definitely make sure to visit every time I’m in town. It’s now my favorite breakfast spot in Coarsegold/Oakhurst. The place is very clean, very well maintained, awesome outside dining atmosphere under a canopy of trees, and so cute. Highly recommend. Support the local family operating this business!

A Fresh, Homemade Breakfast Stop on the Way to Yosemite.

Wild Fig Kitchen turned out to be the perfect breakfast stop during our drive to Yosemite. The place has a warm, rustic charm from the outside, with a cozy cabin-style dining room inside—white wood walls, soft natural light, and simple décor that gives it a relaxed, local feel.

The food is genuinely well prepared and tastes clean. Everything we ordered felt homemade: fresh eggs cooked perfectly, crisp bacon, golden potatoes, a hearty breakfast burrito packed with beans, rice, avocado, and a touch of grilled flavor, and a bowl of oatmeal with berries and nuts that tasted wholesome and unprocessed. Ingredients are clearly handled with care, and nothing feels “commercial” or overly processed.

Service is friendly, and the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere. Just note that the system works like this: you order and pay at the counter, then take a seat and wait for your food. Because everything is cooked fresh, there can be a bit of a wait—but the quality makes it worth it.

If you’re traveling through the area or heading to Yosemite, this is a spot I would definitely recommend for a clean, hearty, and honest breakfast.

There are already many pictures on the food so I will just share my dining experience. We been coming to Oakhurst and Yosemite the week before Thanksgiving for couple of years just to chill out. Found this place for a Sunday brunch. The service was warm and welcoming, made us feel very comfortable. The place locates right off highway 41, surrounded by mountains, warm sun in the morning, bit of breeze, wonderful way to start a day. This place seems to be a great gathering spot for the locals, nice to see such community bonds nowadays. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely amazing. They have decaf and accommodated my milk allergy. Their salsa was so good I wish they bottled it!! I never leave reviews but this place was such a hidden gem I needed to :) thanks for a delicious breakfast!
