I was in a group of 10 hikers that showed up an hour before closing on a Sunday and they still happily served us. The vibe is a cool, funky, fun roadside BBQ with license plates covering the walls. Spacious, warm and comfortable inside. Outstanding service and delicious food. The grilled chicken sandwich was outstanding. Thanks for a great end to a fun day of hiking. Highly recommended!!

Stopped by on a whim, was not disappointed! Great food at a good price. Doesn't get any better than that. To think that you can get a Carls Jr. meal for around the same price is insane to me, worth checking out.

I was 5 minutes away from hangry and we were driving through town, so my husband pulled into this place and said “let’s give it a shot!” And oh, my word! So dang delicious. I’m so full that I need to unbutton my jeans. Hands down the most amazing bbq, phenomenal atmosphere, kind staff, and did I mention DELICIOUS FOOD?! So good. Do yourself a favor and stop by for an eat.You won’t regret it. Oh, and they’re cash only. (They have an ATM, though)
And in case you were wondering, hangry crisis averted. But now I’m too full, so now I’m asking my husband why he did this to me. Teehee :)

I had the barbecue brisket, sandwich and macaroni salad with a water. Such a great little hole in the wall that everyone needs to stop at the service was beyond. Unbelievable such nice people that run the place. Thank you for a great experience.

My friend and I stopped here on our way to Big Pine and were seriously impressed. We had the pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, house made curry rice, and cornbread… everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great too. Just a heads up! It’s cash only, but they do have an ATM if you need it.

What fantastic find even coming out of the woods. Humongous plates, salads as big as any appetite, and a pulled pork sandwich that will make you drop to your knees and weep.
Simply delightful! Sumptuous meats - my friend said the pulled pork was the best she’d ever had, and I could not decide between a burger and the brisket and turns out they have a burger TOPPED WITH BRISKET and it was insanely good. The proprietors were really sweet and gave great, friendly service. Cash only, ATM inside. Very reasonable prices so it’s worth the ATM fee if you have one.
Google lists their hours incorrectly (they say they’ve corrected it several times but it reverts), so if Google says closed but you’ve got a hankerin’ for great BBQ, call or just note the “OPEN” signs/flag out front.
I never had beef brisket so dry before. Eating it is like chewing wax.
