My Husband and I got to Beach Hut Deli in Colfax CA. and was so hungry. We had read about the sandwiches and already knew what we were going to order before we even got there but unfortunately when my Husband walked in at 7:30pm when it says online clear as day, they close at 8pm we were very disappointed when they said they were already closed, so disappointed my Husband says we are not coming back here ever again, so we went to Subway where we normally go and will continue to go. Subway is open until 10pm and as far as I know they dont close early. You would think when it says they close at 8pm, at 7:30pm they should still be making sandwiches, you are supposed to stop making sandwiches at 8pm and start closing after 8pm. Am I right or is this something new?

Very attractive interior. Plenty of parking. Our two 6 inch sandwiches were outstanding. All ingredients fresh and high quality, excellently prepared. They were prepared to look just like the images on their website. Person taking our order was extremely pleasant. Not crowded.
This place had 3 ladies working today and the service, speed of when the food was delivered and the sandwich itself was great! Very nice Deli in Colfax for a quick stop on I-80. I had the North Shore which is my favorite and it was great.

Gwen was a delightful staff and on chatting with her I find out that her co-worker is the proud young owner of the deli. When a lot of young people are trying to figure out what to do with their lives, this person is already a proud business owner. Kudos Gwen and M!!
