I'm very been in McDonalds in about 98 countries across the globe and THIS one in Colfax CA is hands down THE nicest one I have EVER eaten in. Delicious, fresh food and coffee, lovely service, pleasant ambiance, very clean and GORGEOUS location with fantastically fresh, mountain air. Worth a stop on the way to from Sugar Bowl / Tahoe / Donner Lake!

This place is more expensive than other McDonalds. They also only have self-serve kiosk available to order. If you get people that can’t decide it’s so annoying having to wait instead of ordering with a person at a register.

This was a great place to go but now the owner got greedy and wants to charge a lot more than every other McDonald's in Northern California an order of cookies used to be like $2.25 now it's 369 that is crazy and the meals went up $3 a piece I will never be going there again

I bought a coffee, large size, it came half-full of medium size and full of ice. I asked for less ice, she knew she did it wrong and immediately closed the window in my face. Ridiculous service and quality

This is a nice and clean McDonald's. I went in to use the restroom but ended up buying food because it was clean. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely go back.

If u go inside, u have to use the kiosk. This is not service. It takes me so long to figure it out. Why are they paying these people to work if they're just standing there looking at u like you're an idiot. Bad for business. Do the drive-through. Much faster and no stress waiting for people to figure out these machines.
