Love the vibe and the food! Wait staff was friendly and never stopped moving! We enjoyed the carnitas burrito (with a pancake for my bread option as a side!) Yummo. I haven't had a pancake in years!! Hubby had the traditional eggs bene and ate every bite! Thick ham on each side made it a huge meal. He still ate every bite including his hash browns while I took some leftovers home! Avacado on the burrito was fresh and plentiful. Carnitas was delish and hash browns cooked just right. People coming in non stop but great use of space meant no waiting for a table. Great find just off 80. Lovely breakfast on 4th of July. Thank you for being open!!
Had a BLT with avocado. The sandwich was good fresh lettuce, and tomato. I was not all that impressed with the avocado. And yes, I did get a chocolate cake to go and I’m sure it will be fantastic.
My burger was cooked perfectly!!! Once I finally got it. I think it took nearly 30 minutes for burger & fries. I only saw one table with a couple sitting. That is my only complaint, EXTREMELY slow service. And price... $70 for burger, fries, shake and an extra patty for my furbaby waiting in the car.
Great spot for breakfast 😋
Cute roadside cafe with delicious food and friendly service. Located right off of I80 with plenty of parking (park on top in front of building not below next to motel). We ordered a pizza, French dip and steak sandwich. Steak sandwich was amazing. They cut the steak on site. Thick cut and tender. House made potato salad was amazing. Sauce on pizza was delish. Totally recommend this spot on your travels.
This is an old fashioned American roadhouse. You can order breakfast, lunch or dinner from their extensive menu. My friend had the eggs Benedict while I had the salmon spinach salad with mozzarella balls and artichokes, an expected menu item. I forgot to mention there were salads an berry pies.

Do you think mayonnaise is spicy? If so then this is the restaurant for you! This is only a place for the denture crowd.

Fried zucchini appetizer tasted like they needed to clean the fryer oil. Called a steakhouse but they’re 12 ounce ribeye is not worth the money. Terrible cut of meat. Spent 30 minutes just trying to chew it. Half of it was left on the plate just could not swallow.. Vegetables tasted freezer burnt with too much old vegetable oil taste. Salad was good blue cheese dressing, decent. Twice baked potato tasted stale and freezer burn not fresh, old n nasty. Thin piece of dry carrot cake …After tip $81.00 for one person, definitely not worth the money. And the price not worth it. Atmosphere and customer service was wonderful. They need to fire that cook. And learn to prep some fresh food. I’m going to give it a one star, but if you’re looking for a good steakhouse this is not the place. . Perhaps better luck next time I Choice will be a hamburger ? Don’t waste your money on the steak or sides. Pizza and burgers only! Sad but true! :(

This place has really been falling from grace, as it used to be really good.
Have been aprox 6 times in the last year- each time declining in quality.
Went there last night in a party if 4, only 2 other tables were occupied, and waited about 20 minutes to get our order in. The waitress was a mess to put it lightly- wearing house slippers, hair a mess-just really didn’t look like she was put together, and ready to be working. Waited about 35 minutes for our food. Pizza greasy as heck, spaghetti & meatballs- chef boyardee would have been better, and the meatball needed a steak knife to cut open, basically fossilized. The chicken dinner that my lady got was TOUGH,the veggie medley was undercooked, and the baked potato was near raw.
The grocery store freezer TV dinner would have been quite an upgrade.
I hope the owners/manager get it together.
The place used to be sooooo good, and was packed just about every night.
