Nice use of an old bar in Colfax, CA that closed 5 years ago. Really good pastry, coffee, teas, and more.
Really easy to find off Highways 174 and 80, or off Placer Hill Rd going North from Auburn. Come join the Wrecking staff and treat yourself to an old town atmosphere.

They’ve moved into a bigger better location just a door or two down. It’s a great setup and the bagel bomb’s are the best. Cheaper and better than a McDonald’s breakfast sandwich, plus you’re supporting local businesses.

My family loves eating at The Wrecking Crew in the morning for a quick bite. The croissants and bagels are so yummy. They also bake cookies and cakes that never disappoint.

The group working was very nice and friendly. It was a great early morning atmosphere for our family. Food was delicious and the coffee drinks were good too. They have non dairy milk options too!

We first visited The Wrecking Crew on RailRoad days. It was bustling, but the staff took our order and delivered our food to us very quickly. Our second visit was on another busy Saturday, and again, the staff was pleasant and efficient. Everything we have ordered has been fresh and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the Bacon Bagel Bites. I will stop here for my morning coffee instead of Starbucks from now on!
