On October 17 at noon I had lunch at the Colma location. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Cheese burger. I thought it rated as the best bacon cheese burger i have ever had in my 75 years. First of all the bacon was done to perfection. It was not greasy and not over cooked. The bacon had great flavor. It was two large slices that where placed in a cross over the burger and cheese. This is the most decorated Black Bean dinner I have been in. The kid in me is having too much fun with the decor. If you have never been to a Black Bear before, start with a bear claw pastry and wash it down with a mug of black coffee. Delicious. It will get your appetite going for the main course.
