I was tasked with ordering the cake for my best friend's milestone birthday and knew I wanted a vintage cake design. I reached out to Sweet Dreams Bakery with the design that I had in mind and Maricel responded quickly and assured me that Sweet Dreams could make the cake that I wanted.
The end product was BEAUTIFUL and delicious. We brought the cake to a restaurant and someone outside of the group even requested to take a photo of it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a custom cake. Thank you so much Maricel and Sweet Dreams Bakery team.

$4.25 a pc or $25 for half a dozen is too expensive for the quality itself. Looked appetizing but all of the 6 cupcakes of different flavors are all very dry,, feels like eating a week old cake. Never will I come back nor support this business. Won’t even recommend this place

The ube macapuno cake was beautiful in appearance. However, I was so disappointed with the taste. It tasted fake ube macapuno flavors and very dry. We thought that it was not edible at all based on our taste buds. We threw it away after a bite or two. What a waste of money!

Cute little bakery in Colma! I ordered a pirate theme cake for my son’s 1st birthday. If you provide them a photo of what you’re looking for, they can re-create it exactly what you’re visioning! Not just on how beautiful it looks, the flavors were great and not overly sweet, which I loved. Ordered double chocolate and red velvet. So good and so moist. Received lots of compliments on the cake at my son’s party (: highly recommend and will use them again!!

Authentic flavors. I really like the taste of their buttercream. It's light and fluffy, not too sweet. I got the Ube cupcake and banana bread pudding. Both looked pretty good. Actually, all of their cupcakes looked really good. I would definitely try this place again. The cupcake itself was moist.
Amazing customer service!! I work for doordash and I was delivering an order from this bakery, when i arrived to pick up the order i was greeted kindly and given a free cupcake! Cupcake was amazing (banana carrot)

In one sentence, decent flavor but not worth the price.Sweet Dreams Bakery is a nice mom and pop shop that’s pedestrian friendly and has pick/take out only. It is quite pricey at 3.75 per cupcake and are on the smaller side. Not quite instagram worthy, but there is fair attention to the flavor profile. However, anyone can get as good if not a better product at your local Trader Joe’s for a fraction of the cost.Almond Brittle cupcake:Basic vanilla sponge base, with a lightly sweetened whipped cream. But the almond flavor is nonexistent and only present in the name.Pumpkin cupcake:Nice pumpkin flavor permeating the cake and the cream cheese nutmeg frosting had a great consistency with a very balanced sweetness. Still not worth 3.75 when the same thing can be found at Trader Joe’s for a far better price.

Wonderful local bakery with amazing flavors and great friendly staff. I ordered a 4in birthday cake for my boyfriend as we were both at home sick and the cake arrived beautifully inscribed and in less than an hour. The red velvet was so moist and the frosting not too sweet. It was perfect. Their cupcakes and macarons are excellent too!

I like my sweets sweet, i was in the area and looking to try out a new place. I found this on google maps, highly rated. The store is located across the street from bart station, street parking(lucky i found a spot). Ordering now is at the door. Lots of choices. I tried out the assorted mini cupcakes, they were good. Moist on the inside, not too overly sweet(i would prefer sweeter but that is just me). I would be coming back to try out their other products.
