Jerk chicken yeah right. Season doesn’t me over spice. I could have baked it nice and tender in my home oven. Chicken breast was overcooked and dry. I honestly could have stopped at stater bros and grabbed their ready to go chicken atleast they don’t over cook

Coming from a real Jamaican. This place is amazing. I ordered a second plate of curry to go after I ate a full plate of curry goat! The steamed veggies were better than anything I've ever tasted. Front of the house's demeanor was exquisite! Extremely pleasant and accommodating. I have lived in Vegas for quite some time and every time I passed through Cali I would go to Stone and Chins so I was disappointed when the Highland location closed. NOW I have Island Breeze Jamaican Cuisine to remind me of Jamaica. Pleasantly surprised and overly satisfied!

I was so excited to eat here. I drove an hr just for the oxtails, and was told they ran out of them as well as the plantains. I was so disappointed. Why are you running out food period?!

The second you walk in your immediately taken to a Jamaican island breeze ! Roots reggae right in the soul of amazing delicious food! With a great selection of Jamaican cuisine feels your stomach with love every time! Right away you are greeted with wonderful customer service and a smile the food is ready immediately and takes you straight to granny's kitchen. A must try place.that I recommend to all friends and family!

The only part that was nice was the handsome dude I presume worked there. Other than that, I literally wasted $28 on some chopped up oxtails, over peppered gravy, and under cooked rice.

I ordered oxtails, rice and peas, and plantain. They do honor military discounts here but this place is still pricy. I wait 5 minutes and the girl comes out to tell me they just ran out of plantains. That was the main point. I wanted my plantains. And as much pepper as they used I needed it. So they offered me another side. I chose yellow yams. Never had them and im not sure how they should be prepared but I can tell you those were tasteless and dense.

Needless to say, I literally just wasted my money and I won't be back

Had the oxtail bowl today. Meat fell apart perfect but still had a good chew and was seasoned perfectly. The rice and peas were seasoned perfect and you could taste the thyme. Veggies were crisp and perfect.

I order the oxtail dinner and jerk chicken, along with dumplings. Everything was good expect the OXTAILS. The OXTAILS were so tough and small. They give a lot of OXTAILS but they are kids bite size which is not for an grown up meal. I don't want more OXTAILS just would like nice size portions even if its only 4. Please let owner and manger reassess the cooking and size of the OXTAILS. This is my 3rd time with this issue. Thanks

Good, vibes good food. I stick to my usual items of oxtail, curry goat, ackee & salt fish, and patties. Tried the jerk chicken, didn't care for it so would not recommend. Everything else has been great. Been coming for years!

Initially we were super excited to try this place because we seen it advertised on tick tock. But to our surprise it was not good. The oxtails were very tough. Not to mention that there was so much fat on them. It was very hard to eat around it. The plantains were undercooked and almost raw mushy and the red beans and rice were salty. The so-called boiled dumplings were unedible. They were hard and lumpy and had no taste ,we were
really looking forward to supporting a black owned business, but this one did not the cut by far. $60 wasted

Great spot for lunch! The lunch special is such a deal. You get plenty of food for a great price. I had the brown stew chicken supper yummy.
