I was so,so disappointed with your Tamales this year 2022, my family has been patronizing your business for more than 50 years for masa, etc. But this year your tamales were too small, bland, not enough meat or sauce and so expensive..$30. per dozen. Lacked flavor and some were still raw...Very disappointing. Seems like you have changed your recipe. What has happened?

Tamales are horrible. No flavor at all. The green one tamale I got was not cooked at all. I don't recommend this place for tamales.

Absolutely amazing tamales for my daughter's Quinces. They made 18 dozen in 4 different variations. I knew my gluten free, vegan and carnivore guests were covered. Tamales were the perfect dish for quick, easy, Covid friendly plating and we got many compliments on the food. Great communication all the way through. Flexible with pick up time to make sure they were warm for the event. Carmen really went above and beyond and I highly recommend La Carreta.
This place is the absolute go to place for my corn tortillas and my masa for tamales there's is no other like La Carreta it's been a family go to for many many years .If you don't know now you know ,pure authentic taste, right away you enter you'll know your at the right place the smell is real ?

La Carreta market in Colton is a community Gem which has been in business for a very long time. It is a small operation who specialize in masa. They are open year round and make tamales year round. If you enjoy home made flour tortillas you will love this place. The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is awesome. On a negative note they do not have a lot of staff and when staff are working, they are working so sometimes they do not answer the phone when you call to place an order. This is not a bad thing just saying, in case you call and they do not answer right away. If you are in the Colton area I recommend La Carreta for the flour tortillas and the tasty tamales
