Just had dinner at Le Rendezvous Café in Lake Elsinore, and I have to say — what a wonderful surprise! This charming little French spot on North Main Street is exactly what our town needed.
I had the Chicken Pot Pie and it was comfort food at its finest — golden, flaky crust and packed with flavor. Arlen ordered the Ribeye, and it was perfectly cooked and full of that rich, savory goodness you hope for in a great steak.
But what really stood out to us was the story behind the restaurant. The chef is also the owner — with over 40 years of experience — and he’s clearly poured his heart into this place. He even bought the building himself, which tells you how committed he is to being a part of the Lake Elsinore community. That kind of passion is rare, and it shows in the food and the service.
We left full, happy, and proud to support a business that’s investing in our city. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll love it!

We had an incredible dining experience at Le Rendezvous Café — Lake Elsinore’s newest French restaurant located right on Main Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that felt like a little escape to Paris.
I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, and it was absolutely delicious — flaky, flavorful, and comforting. My partner had the Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully.
What really makes this place special is the chef himself — he’s also the owner and has been cooking for over 40 years. You can taste the passion in every bite. Knowing that he actually owns the building and has invested fully in our community made us appreciate the experience even more.
We love supporting small, local businesses — especially ones that care this deeply about quality and service. Highly recommend giving Le Rendezvous Café a try. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is so cute! Clean and staff is friendly! We came for breakfast. We got the sirloin steak and stuffed French toast. Everything was excellent! The stuffed French toast comes with fresh cut strawberries and blueberries that were perfect! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back to try lunch as someone ordered so really cool dish as we were leaving and it smelled amazing!

Amazed at how delicious everything was. Service was fantastic and friendly. This was our first time, and everyone in our party of four was impressed! Definitely get the garlic cheese bread!

This place doesn’t need another five star review but I wanted to express my gratitude over a place that is run well, with absolutely delicious food, at reasonable prices. Seriously the food here is amazing, and the staff is fantastic

The best place that I have found for fine dining. Oh my goodness, you will not be disappointed! The Beef stroganoff was delicious!! A must-visit for sure!
Hands down the best meal we have had in a long time. Atmosphere is very casual but the food tastes like fine dining. Price point extremely reasonable. They just opened and have a beer and wine License and will have their full liquor license in January. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!!

We were driving down Main Street and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed a bottle of wine, escargot, and our entrees. We'll be back to try the other dishes!

First time in, will be a 10+ when it’s a full liquor bar, however great wine selection and some beers. Was greeted Rigth off, sat at bar. Chef told his special was Macadamia nuts Mahi Mahi . Went with that and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. Price includes a really nice size salad ( homemade blue cheese dressing)
