I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years, but my recent experience was disappointing. In the past, this restaurant has honored coupons, but during my last visit, they refused to honor an expired one—which I understand. However, when we asked the first waitress about it, she said they would honor it, only for a different waitress to later be extremely passive-aggressive when informing us they wouldn’t.

We adjusted our order to share a meal, and the waitress brought out what looked like a kid’s portion. Whether this was intentional or part of a new cost-saving measure, it was incredibly frustrating. The portion was half of what we normally receive, yet the prices remain the same. It felt like we were being penalized for asking about the coupon.

After years of enjoying meals here, this experience has left me questioning whether I’ll return. If you’re going to raise prices, at least maintain the portion sizes and customer service standards.

I usually come here to eat before I grocery shop at stater bros next door I have tried many different things on the menu all of there food is really delicious and dude there chips and salsa fire definitely recommended yall don’t sleep on this place the only thing I could say is the customer service it’s always hit and miss the servers aren’t always the nicest but hey the bomb food out weighs it

Let me just say. I’ve been craving pozole for TWO weeks now and have been hesitant on ordering from anywhere because sometimes Mexican food doesn’t taste good from outside. HOWEVER, this morning I said why not. So I went on DoorDash, saw Maria’s cafe, ordered me a pozole with a Mexican coke! It is delicious. ? It tastes like it was made with love. ❤️ Amazing. Highly recommend. I haven’t been inside the restaurant but I bet it’s nice.

I had the shredded beef taco salad and there was canned vegetable soup in it. Gross! Not what I expected. Bland soupy taste. The guacamole was not fresh either. The salsa tasted good though.

The food is very good. Maria's never disappoints.

I've been going there for over 30 years since it had nine tables Martin and Beatrice the owners love them hardworking they are very good people I have recommended this place to everyone I know

Super great people. Very friendly. Great service, if you want good Mexican food, this is the place to go. Portions are good. Prices are reasonable. This is a great find.

I don't know what happened to their service but it was atrocious!
I ordered some beans to go and they charged me for them then I got totally ignore I had to send my husband to get them for me I was upset ? for their treatment towards me I won't ever go there again
