Maria's Cafe Mexican Restaurant

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. They were very friendly and we were able to be seated quickly even though the place was pretty full. I had the two tacos lunch, my husband had the chorizo and eggs, and our granddaughter ordered the carne asada wet burrito. Our food was good and plentiful. We can tell by the beans and rice if it’s a good restaurant and this certainly is very good. The beans and rice were delicious. I only wish that the taco shells were fried there rather than being too crunchy for my taste. Other than that, we will definitely return as soon as we can for more good food.

Service was a little slow at the end had to flag the waitress down to a check . Overall would be hard to beat at any price. Their prices are very reasonable. Food was pretty darn good. Great tacos and pica do. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

I wish I would have taken pictures before we devoured our food! They have made a comeback with their quality since Covid. Our food was so good!
We got the tacos al carbon which came with 3 huge tacos made from homemade tortillas and beans and rice, a combination plate with fish taco and shredded beef enchilada, a combination plate with chile relleno, cheese enchilada and beans and rice as well as a tapatio burrito meal to go. Everything was amazing! Quality was great, service was fantastic and serving sizes were insane. Prices have gone up but nothing like other places and their serving sizes haven’t gone down. Even the to go order had chips and salsa. Overall I missed this place since I moved and we will make the trip back over in the near future!

For people wanting a great lunch they have $11 lunch deals with two items beans and rice too!

I am from the LA area which has very good Mexican food. This place has excellent food. Their rice, perfect beans. Perfect everything I've had there is very good.
