Hadn't had one of these in years! Last night one of the guys brought some to the poker game. What a treat. Delicious! Then I remembered that I had delivered flour to that location in Colton back in the 70's. Nice to see a family business still doing their thing some 50 years later! Will be looking for more very soon.

I love the Pineapple hand pies. Pineapple is so hard to find so I have been thrilled that my local store started selling them.Yesterday I bought two pineapple pies during my grocery shopping trip. I ate one of the pies last night - until I felt a sharp crunch. I looked through the pie and didn't find anything but when I continued chewing what was already in my mouth, I felt another crunch and a small cut in my gums. I found a piece of something -- glass or hard plastic in the pie that was in my mouth. I know that I had swallowed some of whatever it was and have not felt well ever since. I have never experienced this when eating one of their pie's but this time has scared me enough that I do not plan to have another as I don't feel safe.

Love the chocolate pudding

Blueberry warmed then topped with vanilla ice cream. Really hit the spot. Nice size if you want to get your pie-fix without making or buying a whole pie!

I love these pies but opened a brand new one and it had mold! It was not even pass the expiration date yet very disappointed... all I wanted after dinner was a chocolate pie

These are a Southern California I.E. staple, they taste exactly how they did when I was a kid. All the flavors are amazing and the price is always right, the Arizona teas of the snack world. Don’t ever change or stop making these!!!

Hands down best pie I've ever had. Been eating it since 1994.

When you're in the mood for a good old-fashioned junk food fix, Mrs Redd's pies fit the bill. They're like Hostess pies were back in the 1960s & 70s, only not so cloyingly sweet and with a crust that that tastes like food, not cardboard. They aren't high-end gourmet and they don't pretend to be, but they are surprisingly tasty. I've liked every flavor I've tried. The vanilla pudding pie came as a pleasant surprise, with a good vanilla flavor. The only downside is that they could be addictive. I'm surprised they can sell something of this quality at such a low price. Shh, don't tell them, but now that I've tried them, I would pay more.

These are excellent little pies for the price, I have been eating them since I was a kid in the 1980s.Everyone in these reviews are complaining about the filling not having enough fruit. Well they are .49¢ at the time I am writing this at Food for less in Riverside California. For the price they are excellent, if you want 47 cherries Wedged into a 4.5 oz pie I would imagine you would pay three or four dollars for it. What I ask has anyone priced cherries lately? How about apples or how about fruit in general? Not exactly cheap when fresh let alone turned into pie filling which involves a few extra steps but then you combine the price of the fruit with the cost of operating a business in southern California, plus transportation and distribution charges plus the markup at the grocery store and for less then $0.50 these things are amazing. It is all about perspective. If there were $3- you would be disappointed but at .49¢ they are the wholesome goodness that I've ate for Will over 35 years and will continue to enjoy as long as I live in an area that I can buy them.My personal favorite is coconut cream pie but all are decent.

I enjoy these pies and buy them at Stater Bros grocery stores. Simple but good. I will continue to buy these pies.

These are the best tasting old school fried pies and somehow they're cheaper than Hostess pies were in the 90s. love it!

Love the Lemon and Blackberry. Cherry is great as well and all of these pies are very reasonably priced.
