HI FOLKS, this place is a great steak for a nominal price. They prepared our steaks just as we ordered them. The atmosphere is countryish. They will cut your tie off if you are wearing one. This place is a staple of the community of Colton and they do have other locations. Grub It dude!

Enjoy a prickly pear margarita before you order, worth it. The half rack ribs were served dry with sauce on the side, huge baked potatoes, and beans. Try the jalapeno corn bread, a different take on the usual. Tasty cornbread with cheese, butter, and honey. Jalapeno is not hot just adds for enough taste. Atmoshere is family oriented, but there is a separate bar. Feels like a barn BBQ, with checkered tablecloths, and extra condiments on the table.Kid-friendliness: Saw many children, tables are * out so walkways are not crowded.Parking: Plenty parking and large lot

This place is always phenomenal. The atmosphere is great and usually the service is awesome. The food here has been great the times we have dined there. We will definitely go back

I live close we go often. Yesterday was my worst experience. The steak was overcooked and this happens every time. I can deal with it. What I didn’t like is sitting in the bar area with all the flies. They buzzed around us and our food the whole meal. And I mean multiple flies… more than 5. It was gross. Also, it’s too hot in that section. I don’t like to go out to dinner and sweat. Not sure if I will go back.

I really wanted to give this place a shot, especially since my parents recommended it. My family went on Father's Day, and we were a large party. We'll, as soon as we entered, we were directed to a bar area to be seated. Everything smelt and felt old, and even though not dirty, looked dirty if you know what I mean. For a steakhouse that charges close to $ 50 per person just for an entree with no sides, I understandably expected better. However, sometimes the best food comes from these homestyle places. I was so wrong and was so disappointed. Not one of our steaks came out correctly cooked, pork chops overcooked. I nearly died of laughter for their surf and turf, literally a palm size piece of overcooked meat with 4 mini shrimp on a skewer- for about $40..only sides included are some watery cowboy beans nobody ate, a salad that may have been the star of the show, and bread that was neither toasted or buttered. I ordered sides that were over priced, and were dually horrible as the meat. Mashed potatoes that tasted like a baked potato with no gravy and some burnt mac and cheese. I know they were extremely busy, as our waitresses let us know at every turn the reason why all of our food that cost over $800.00 for was not coming out as expected. Some of our sides came at the end of the meal, and some never came. I was irritated and hungry when we left. We ended up getting Jack in the box maybe an hour later, and it was better than that meal by far. I would never go again.

My family came here to celebrate Mother's Day with my mother and grandmother and received poor service. Our family has been coming here for years and the service is always great. There were new servers today and we had a young man serving us. We sat there for some time until our server told us he will be back in a minute. Understanding it was a holiday, we gave him time to cover his other tables. However, we waited over 20 minutes without even getting drinks or bread. Our server finally arrives to take our drink order and told us to wait when we said we were ready to order. We once again waited to take our order and asked if we can get our drinks and bread. He later comes with our drinks after we have been there over 30 minutes. It seemed that he was never around when we needed something and completely avoiding our area for some reason. My father had to get up a few times to ask for something such as extra silverware or napkins. When our food arrives, my father was told that his food was on the way. We all had to start eating before our food got even more cold than it already was without my father. It was also ridiculous how the salsa was $2.95 when it came in a mini cup. Before, it used to come in a small bowl. There was also an issue with my grandmother's steak. She specifically asked our server that she wanted it medium well and her steak was incredibly rare and dripping of blood. Even when we wanted to bring this up to our server's attention, he was nowhere to be seen for over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, my father still never got his food either and it was 20 minutes since we got our food. Our server never once came by to our table to ask how our food was or if we need anything. We had to go out of our way to flag him or get up to get his attention. It did feel unfair how he constantly catered to a table right by us where he asked them how their food is and brought all they needed without them getting out of their seat once. My father had to get up once again and take my grandmother's steak up there. It seemed out of convenience that our server was there to take it. He didn't once apologize about it and still didn't bring my father's meal stoll. By then, my mother, sister, and I were done with our steaks. My grandmother was waiting for her steak to be fixed and my father never even received his food yet. Eventually, my father got his food after we were completely done and my grandmother still waited for her steak. By then, my grandmother already ate her baked potato and beans. She ended up taking her steak home, since she didn't even get the opportunity to eat with her family. For paying $40 for a steak dinner and spending over $250 for our party of 5, this was definitely not worth it at all. Our whole experience was terrible and it's sad that our holiday was spent like this. We could have gone to any other place and received better service for cheaper. I do not suggest going here. It's completely gone downhill over the years.. Be prepared for lower quality service and food.

Service was great ??! Their prime rib and trail boss steak were super tender and juicy. We’ll definitely be back again.

Went for nephews Birthday dinner, reservations were made, there was an area to wait where we could order drinks and stuff while waiting. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We were seated in a timely manner. Waitress was very kind and accurate. Food was Very delicious ?. Been here before, a few years ago, and will go back, and recommend to others!!Vegetarian options: This is a steakhouse, but salads, potatoes, and vegetables are available.Kid-friendliness: children menus available and reasonably prices. They treat children as any other guest. (All good)Parking: plenty of parking including handicapped parking.

I have been going to this place for years. The food has been okay for a simple steak dinner, not the best but not the worst. A couple years back they changed meat suppliers and the steak was absolutely delicious. My wife and I went there recently and were very disappointed with the quality of the steak. Mine started out tasting okay but by the time I got to the end it was kind of mushy with the texture of liver (which I hate). The ribs were dry which made the flavor not so good. My wife's steak had little flavor and the chicken was dry. $100.00 for a meal of this caliber was not worth the money. We have had a better steak at Denny's.

Good food at reasonable prices with (usually) good service. Nothing fancy. My only complaint is that sometimes the steaks are bigger than the plate so bigger plates might be nice. If you show up dressed like a "City Slicker" wearing a necktime they will cut it off and hang it on the wall.Parking: lots of parking. I wouldn't think most vegetarians would want to go to a steak house. Kid's like finding their necktie on the wall on their next visit.

Interesting place for sure. Plenty of parking, seating was good. Large portions, they have a full bar. My steak was a little over cooked, I ordered the Fillet and they butterfly cut it? They brought out a basket of bread and butter, more than I needed and at room temp. It’s a relaxing place to eat a meal and it’s fairly easy to get to.BatesX3 from Kansas City

Employees were great, but the steaks were horrible. Cowboy and Cowgirl, medium. Seemed like they had been frozen way too long. Watery and grey on the inside due to ice crystals. Overdone and had a strange sour taste. Even the salads and green salsa were bad. San Dimas location is much better.Parking: There is plenty of parking in front.

Way pricey $47 for a cowboy steak, and it's cut thinner then I remember still taste the same though. And they don't serve the menu on the doggy bag anymore

I’ve am a long Tim repeat customer as far back to before the original restaurant burned, so I make this review sadly. Tonight, business was a like slow, 3/17/23, it looked as if they were waiting for a bigger crowd for St Paddy’s but it remained rather small. First thing we noticed is they opened the side dining area where they sat us, next was the menu and rather large price increases! My favorite “Cowboy” was over $45 and my husbands flat iron was now over $26. We told each other, “This is the best steak place and our “go-to” restaurant” and so we ordered. Husband had a Pepsi and I had a margarita. My husband asked for his flat iron, medium & charred (we always request our steaks this way) and I ordered the prime rib ($46 for 14 Oz). When our meal came my husbands steak was BURNED with a thick burned crust and my prime rib, done medium, was “grey” and idly shaped! A big disappoint, regardless of price! This was our first disappoint and bad meal from Pinnacle Peak - ever! Our bill was $91…We are home now and I admitted my meal was not even as good as our last one there and that I was appalled at his burned, crispy (way past ‘charred’) steak! We’ll wait 6 months, try again… For now, if YOU eat there, we hope it’s better than what we experienced tonight.

The drink service was good. There were two of us. The bread was a bit on the dry side. I got the wrong salad dressing, my friend asked for dressing on the side. His was covered in dressing and had a side of dressing also. Took quite a while to get the steaks. Both were overcooked, and the people at the next table were complaining of the same thing. The sides arrived late, and the corn was burnt on one side. For over $100, with tip, for 2. Food should have been much better.
