The restaurant focuses on authentic tacos, especially Tijuana style, with each taco stuffed to take about three bites. The salsa and guacamole are rich in flavor, and the adobado meat is highly praised. The handmade tortillas are a highlight, though quality may vary when they first open. The agua de Jamaica is very good, with a citrus blend that many find one of the best Jamaicas around. While the service can be hit or miss and some staff have been rude, the food makes up for it. Quick service is available, but outdoor seating has limited shade in the summer. Cash is the only accepted payment method. The restaurant is also known for attracting neighborhood cats, which visitors often enjoy sharing an extra taco with.
