If you want a hot and real meal, then Chef Colus is a good place to start. The food is fresh and thoughtful, and the service is the same. Didn't know what I was in for walking in. It looks like just a bar and a little hole in the wall feel. But there is a dining room the back, and it's comfortable enough. The food is homemade and not a bunch of reheat and eat products that I could do at home. I had a burger, and it really hit the spot. Was just the price of the fast food places around hot and cooked to my liking. This place is far and away the best in town. Thanks Chef ?? ?

Been here a few times good service breakfast is delicious Ham eggs hash browns toast coffee is always delicious I so glad we have a place we can go have breakfast I will definitely keep coming here

Found this gem of a restaurant while looking for breakfast near me in colusa. Right down the street from the hotel and opens early. Nice family owned, I say family owned because it's not a chain and it seemed to me the folks working the place were related, clean, mixed drinks available and service was very friendly. Good was cooked to order and the coffee was unexpectedly great! Ordered up eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and sour dough toast. Food came out fast, it was hot and delicious. I now have my breakfast place in colusa! It was also very reasonably priced for what I received, I would have paid more without a second thought.

This place is a gem! The servers were super friendly and speedy, they made us a fresh pot of coffee which was delicious and all three of the people in my party stated how good their food was. The prices were excellent as well. It's really too bad that this place is 2 hours away from where I live, otherwise I would visit often!

My family and I decided to try this place out after a day of boating. We were greeted with a smile (even though it was approaching closing time). The food is amazing! My son liked the steak so much he even recommended adding it to the kids menu ? ?.

This is a my schedule restaurant. The atmosphere is great for hunters. It seems like a place to eat if you're a "good ol boy" Also the kitchen closes at 8:30.
