A nice little stop on our dive bar tour of the surrounding area. Great ambiance with that classic dive bar appeal. A lot of old historic photos hanging on the walls that tells the story of its long and a rich history. The bartender tells me it's under new ownership and has undergone a recent remodel. The place looks great! Likely a fun place to spend a couple hours. We were just passing through but glad we had an opportunity to stop in and hang out for a couple of drinks. We will be back!

Well, I would say a few things about this establishment, but I think the only thing that I can think of at the moment is being overcharged for $600 also charge for the two drinks that I had at this establishment….I have learned my lesson and I am never going back to this establishment or Rocco’s… Never got an apology for the mistake..
Update 3/22/25…overcharge has been fixed…. Like I said lesson learned.

We are from out of the area so we were looking for a bar with a nice atmosphere where we could talk and enjoy each other’s company. This was the perfect place. There were only a few other people plus the bartender but everyone was fun and playing music.
We did have a bit of hard time finding this place. I didn’t notice a sign outside advertising Jameson’s on 5th. I noticed a sign in the window saying Sportsmen Club so we decided to check it out. It wasn’t until we got inside that I saw a neon sign on the far wall saying Jameson’s on 5th.
