Our daytime tour with Angel felt like being driven around by a good friend to try all his favorite tacos. We're LA natives and learned so much about Boyle Heights/East LA from Angel, and tried so many tacos that we can't normally find in our parts of town. Note that it's mostly a driving tour and tacos are not included--but that didn't stop us from having a great time! Highly recommend as a local or as a visitor.

Angel’s taco crawl is a must! Angel took my family and I to little hole in the wall/mom pop taco stands. There was an overwhelming amount of delicious food options. Angel was hilarious, knew a lot of history about tacos and the local neighborhoods. It was unique way spend time with the family and experience Los Angeles’s rich taco culture. Thanks Angel (maybe I’ll try a cricket next time ??)

This is one of those experiences that if you don't try you won't know. It was an amazing outing to be able to walk downtown and hit the food vendors. Angel knew exactly where to go and what food was their speciality. The people watching and culture were amazing. I took my kids and each of them ate 11 tacos and can't wait to do it again.

I booked this tour a week in advance and got a confirmation and reminder the day before. We took an hour-long Uber drive to meet Angel but he didn't show up. 10 mins after the meeting time he called us back and said he was sick and had to cancel the tour. I understand being sick and having to cancel but not telling us before we traveled across the city to meet him was really inconsiderate (we were fully reachable by phone, text and email and he knew we were staying in another area of town). I asked him to reimburse us the $80 we spent in Ubers to meet him then travel back to our hotel but he didn't even respond to my email. Don't book this tour unless you are prepared to have it cancelled without notice. He did refund the tour cost but it still ruined a night of our vacation and cost us $80 and 2 hours travel time because he couldn't be bothered to contact us to cancel.

Great tour, I highly recommend it! Angel was so easy to get along with. He went above and beyond and even took us to see some mural paintings, so we got dinner and a 'show' . Thanks again Angel!

The tacos were delicious and he will cater to your desires, which for us ended with the most amazing churros! The cultural and food experience is wonderful and you will have a fantastic evening! LA is said to have the best tacos outside of Mexico City. I wanted to see if this was true and did the Taco Food Tour with Angel. He will take you to the best spots with the most delicious tacos you'll ever had! There are a zillion taco places in LA so it's important to know exactly where you need to go as not all tacos are the same. Angel not only knows East LA very well but knows which taco joints are the ones worth trying. If you are a taco lover, this tour is definitely for you!

Amazing tour and Angel is awesome! He was so knowledgeable and fun to hang out with, he really customized the tour to our preferences and we got to go to places that we would have never found on our own. 100% would recommend to anyone who loves tacos!

What a treat!!! You never really know how something like this is going to go when a guy pulls up in his car and says …our first stop is Taco Bell so you have a base line for comparison…HA!!! Angel is a local Angelino that loves his city and, lucky for us, is willing to share some of that love by leading us to arguably some of the best street tacos you’ll find anywhere. Anyone that doesn’t come back from this experience with a big smile on their face and full belly probably is someone who after viewing Angels website says…Nahhh! That is a big mistake my friends…live a little and let Angel treat you to a very memorable experience!

Such a great tour! For all of my fellow foodies out there, this one is for you! We had a blast venturing around East LA trying all sorts of different and delicious taco varieties. Angel definitely knows his stuff, and had the best recommendations for us to try. Highly recommend this tour - Bon appétit!
