I found out about this place by this app called TooGoodToGo. They had a “Surpise bag” for $9.99 so i decided to give it a try . I went 10 min before the closing time and i got these 2 plates full of food . It was such a steal & everything was so delicious ?!

$16 for a plate (by weight) no thanks. I didn’t even pack it cause I’ve never been here before so I grabbed a little of my favorites. I could’ve gotten a jam packed plate at any other Chinese food for $12.

Went in today and bought 6 pounds of food for $36! The broccoli was crisp and tasty. The noodles were al dente. The orange chicken was even crispy... Amazing quality food for a Chinese buffet! YOU might argue with my 5 stars for atmosphere. WHAT other place as as much atmosphere sticking to all of it's surfaces, inside and out?!

Went in for a burger ? but saw Chinese food had to try it, they sell it per pound, you can serve yourself... pretty good and fresh!
Absolutely astonished by the cheap prices! In a time where inflation is forcing us to live check to check, eating out has become a luxury for many Americans. I expected to spend about $20. I understand that mom and pop shops have a lot of overhead with less margin for loss, which in turn has caused many small businesses to go under and or raise their prices astronomically to cover their costs (this in turn, pushes away customers also) In times like these, all the huge businesses/chains have bail money and resources. With that said, this place simply doesn’t care! They price their food at $5.99 a pound. And that pound is a GOOD pound! They let you weigh it out in front of them, as they ring you up. My food was $7.50 or so. Also, I ordered the taro smoothie with boba. My grand total was $11.70. Please give this place a try, if you are in Montebello area!

All five stars in my book ... Don't expect anything fancy but do expect the best and largest dollar for dollar meal and boba tea you are ever going to find in Los Angeles... $5.99 a pound buffet style setup and there's not one thing that I didn't care for ... Everywhere has something that I don't like (even McDonald's) but I didn't taste one thing that I wouldn't eat again ... No frills good food and a price that makes me wonder how they keep the lights on ... If you are on a budget and want to treat the family then this is your place for sure , couldn't beat it with a stick !!! I don't expect people to be friendly that I don't know but everyone that works here seemed genuinely nice and attentive... My boba coconut milk tea is delicious as well , thank you Corner Express!!! I'll be back in the future ?. Ps .. the boxes were full but I got excited and forgot to take a pic until I was halfway done eating lol

Their Boba balls are usually very wellade I can't tell you how any times I've gone to small Boba chains in east los and their Boba is usually raw or hardened so this was refreshing haven't tried the food but I'm sure I will soon :]
