Absolutely astonished by the cheap prices! In a time where inflation is forcing us to live check to check, eating out has become a luxury for many Americans. I expected to spend about $20. I understand that mom and pop shops have a lot of overhead with less margin for loss, which in turn has caused many small businesses to go under and or raise their prices astronomically to cover their costs (this in turn, pushes away customers also) In times like these, all the huge businesses/chains have bail money and resources. With that said, this place simply doesn’t care! They price their food at $5.99 a pound. And that pound is a GOOD pound! They let you weigh it out in front of them, as they ring you up. My food was $7.50 or so. Also, I ordered the taro smoothie with boba. My grand total was $11.70. Please give this place a try, if you are in Montebello area!Parking: Plenty of parking!Kid-friendliness: Kids items and dishes.

All five stars in my book ... Don't expect anything fancy but do expect the best and largest dollar for dollar meal and boba tea you are ever going to find in Los Angeles... $5.99 a pound buffet style setup and there's not one thing that I didn't care for ... Everywhere has something that I don't like (even McDonald's) but I didn't taste one thing that I wouldn't eat again ... No frills good food and a price that makes me wonder how they keep the lights on ... If you are on a budget and want to treat the family then this is your place for sure , couldn't beat it with a stick !!! I don't expect people to be friendly that I don't know but everyone that works here seemed genuinely nice and attentive... My boba coconut milk tea is delicious as well , thank you Corner Express!!! I'll be back in the future ?. Ps .. the boxes were full but I got excited and forgot to take a pic until I was halfway done eating lol

Food is good, but overpriced. They weigh your plate and that's how they determine the price. You can probably get double the amount of food somewhere else for the same price. The lady at the register was rude too. Unfortunately I will not be back.

First I want to say this is the best Chinese food ever , I seriously don't think anyone can top it . This is like buffets style you can self serve and get waited at check out. The food is always good and fresh and the FLAVORSSS yummm I truly enjoy coming here . Great customer service . My favorite is the coconut shrimp. Also it's nice and clean with a lot of seating .

Everything is very delicious, you serve the food to your liking, I love it because there are many vegetables to choose from and everything is very delicious and fresh and clean, they always have trays of freshly made food ? my favorite Chinese food place ?
Walked in today seen the cashier sweeping the dinning area she picked up some trash with her hands then proceeded to put food on the displays without washing her hands my first red flag should've been the disgusting restrooms and empty cans and bottles on top of the trash containers so gross

This was my first time and it's a help yourself,pick what you want put as much as you want in a to go container then it's weighed and that's what how she determines the price. I had a banana smoothie with 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream extremely delicious ???!! The food was delicious as well I just made sure I prayed over it because it was giant flies in the lady's bathroom waiting to zoom out into the lobby where all the food is and it's uncovered so they can dance all over it if they wanted to. Plus in the dining area I had to guard my food as I ate because of 1 annoying fly coming to try and sup with me ??! It was also very hot inside and I couldn't really enjoy my food like I wanted to but that banana smoothie cooled me down Alot?!! That was my favorite part of the meal besides the fried rice, broccoli and mushrooms and orange chicken. I also had the barbeque pork and fried chicken which was just okay not bad but not slamming and ah jamming. The crust on the chicken is a weird color underneath the brown fried part there's a weird yellow almost like pancake or cornbread mix batter and it was to thick on the chicken I didn't care for that and the barbeque pork some pieces were harder than others which I liked but the softer pieces some were chewy like under cooked I like my pork well done. But all and all the food and hospitality very good and inviting But the Smoothies are what's going to keep me coming way from Highland Park CA on the bus through creepy Downtown LA ?! This food is worth it all come hungry dine in and be satisfied ????❣️

Their Boba balls are usually very wellade I can't tell you how any times I've gone to small Boba chains in east los and their Boba is usually raw or hardened so this was refreshing haven't tried the food but I'm sure I will soon :]
