This company provides a five star catering service, and therefore merits a five star review. I hired City Catering for an intimate holiday gathering with girlfriends, and I did not anticipate all that City Catering provided. They arrived very well prepared with the full BBQ catering assembly. It was an evening, outdoor event, for which they were prepared with not only great food, but also ambience! They had the BBQ pit, the Spotify music selections, the tables, their own lighting, chaffing trays, utensils, excellent service and good food! When I booked the company, I had no clue that their set-up would outdo my entire event. They really made me look good, and all of my guests thoroughly enjoyed City Catering's provisions. I will use this company for catering again, and highly recommend them for any catering event. I could not have asked for a better catering experience, and the privilege of having Barak, Barry, and Pat be the ones to provide such excellent ambience, food and service. Thank you, City Catering!

City Catering always delivers on quality barbecue, cooked to perfection. Their Tri-tip, pulled pork, and ribs have provided us with filling, satisfying meals, while at the same time, and to me more importantly, providing meals to the homeless in Compton. Their banana pudding, Mac n Cheese, beans, and potato salad round out a wonderful picnic dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic BBQ! The best! This is my second experience with City Catering and was again so happy with everything I ordered. We got the Friday Family Feast with pulled pork and smoked tri-tip--both were moist and full of smoky flavor. I loved dipping the tri-tip in their amazing baked beans (with pineapple! Who knew that was such an incredible combination?). The potato salad was fresh and delicious and we ate every bite. This time around we tried Mama's Mac & Cheese and loved that, too. Pat and Barak and their crew are great and so easy to work with. I wish City Catering were closer (!) but am thankful we've been able to have them come down to cater for our church in San Diego. Can't wait for their next visit!

Of course the food was crazy good. I usually think of chicken breasts as dry and not flavorful. But City Catering's chicken breasts were so dang good - most and flavorful. How'd they do that? The ribs were also amazing. Plus getting to chat with 2 of the owners and hear their heart and their story was really cool. We'll definitely be back. ❤

Was at a music festival and experienced the full slab of baby backs and i can't get them off of my mind! Finger licking good. I'm mad that they don't have a permanent location to get those tasty ribs.
