I was very fortunate to find City BBQ! Communication is smooth from start to finish. Liset provided me with a quote for a 20-person birthday party for smoked ribs, brisket, mashed potatoes and cheesy potatoes. The pricing is reasonable and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS! Being that this is my first time ordering from them, there was some hesitation but let me say, that I was pleasantly pleased by the flavor of the food. The meat from the ribs was tender and falling off the bones. The briskets so tender and full of flavor. The mac and cheese and cheesy potatoes was all sooo delicious! My family all asked where the food was from and kept raving about it. It was so fulfilling and we will certainly consider using them again and refer them to friends and family!! Come on!!!!! This was literally the very best BBQ I have ever had in my life. Before City BBQ, that crown belonged to Phillips. Back in the day, I would stand in line for two hours. But they can't even *touch* this que.We ordered beef brisket, pork ribs, and chicken with mac'n' cheese, greens and potato salad. Indescribable, but I will try. Tender and moist, smoked to perfection, seasoned like grandma, and if you walk past and forget to squeeze on the sauces - The Sauce, Sweet, Spicy - and then go back later and put some on your already half-eaten meal, it's like you started all over again with another delicious lunch.Then, for the vegans, Barak prepared a hearty salad with a cilantro sauce. Their dishes are my barometer for an excellent caterer: if they care about people with dietary restrictions, they care about everyone. Our vegans were literally almost in tears, and then he hand delivered small plates of vegan greens. At that point, I wanted to cry.We requested that Barak and his young chefs cater a work event. They showed up plenty of time in advance to set up their chafing dishes, and then followed up with their food. They could not have been more efficient and organized, even before the boss arrived. The young chefs continually buffed the servers with their cloths and attended to us with kindness and attentiveness. You would think it was a wedding. They stuck around a while after service and you can see the family atmosphere that Barak and his team have created for them. Y'all this team takes the time and love to feed people without homes. They hold space for all with love and respect and it shows.I need them to finish that building that they keep talking about and I need them to open a restaurant. I brought a plate home to my hungry daughter after she came home from work and she was like, "Where can we get more??" It was kinda sad that we have to struggle without it.

so good! It's hard to find good bbq ribs in LA but they do it well! & not only is the meat yummy but the sides are amazing too! So many places don't have red beans + rice, one of my favorite sides but they got it down!! def recommend. plus the owners / staff are so so amazing and only elevate the experience.

First time I had city bbq and catering was at the unearth and empower scholarship luncheon. Food was on point! The vegan options were fire. The chicken and brisket and did not miss! Would definitely recommend for any party or event!

Hired City BBQ to cater our work event on a Saturday. They brought their 20 foot smoker and set up their tables/other items nicely. Their customer service was amazing and all the feedback I got from our employees the following Monday was nothing but great things! One of them even said it was better than Texas BBQ. My fave was the mac and cheese and hot links; but everyone loved everything! Did not receive any complaints whatsoever. Def recommend them for any event, big or small.

Best, most flavorful BBQ AND sides I've had in ages. Barrack and his team are lovely and the quality here is insane. Cannot recommend the brisket, hot links and chicken enough. The red beans dish is incredible, so well seasoned it tastes like Grandma served it up. The cheesy potatoes dish is stunningly good as well. You'd do yourself a disservice to not try this place out. AND tell all your friends while you at it

The food was exceptional and oh my, the brisket just melts in your mouth! Chicken and hot links are also so tender, flavorful and juicy. Baked Beans and potato salad is a must addition! And I got a brownie y'all - so delicious and moist. The staff is so friendly and hospitable! You have to have this BBQ in your life!

That chicken, you sure know what you are doing with chicken, and that tri tip like they use to say in the day, don't need no teeth! along with the good food was the Good customer service! Being treated like Family that is how I felt! Also, so well prepared to meet needs of all! I was also at the New Hope Support Event. I contacted this company because I has their food at another event, and they had a quote to me within 2 hours and came through with the best barbeque I have ever had. Amazing service, food, and they followed through on their commitments. What else could I ask for?
