2nd time going for my order I placed through doordash and they say they didn't receive any orders. 1st time the girl searched and searched and saw it elsewhere so she apologized and gave me my order. Today a heavier set man I didn't get his name I showed him a screenshot of the order and he said to me I don't see the order and walked away! So my mother went up there since it was placed through her phone and he told her same thing but b4 he could walk away she said either you give my my order, my money or I'll call the police...it took that for him to just provide service and give us our order. Horrible of that man! We come here very often. Their food is great but he makes me not want to go back!

The past three visits I've had asking for a crispy skinned chicken have been met with disappointment. Employees have given us the mushy skinned chickens with crispy options right in our family's view. Employees lack enthusiasm, don't have a positive attitude towards customers, and would rather laugh and talk with their coworkers than pay attention to the people ordering or their requests. Won't be coming back again.

El Pollo Dorado in Compton is a gem! The chicken is expertly seasoned, delivering that authentic, traditional Hispanic taste. The soft-shell tacos were a delight, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend this spot not just for the fantastic food but also for the warm and loving service. A true culinary experience!

Someone told me their potato salad is good so I had to get a large try for a party. I can't speak on the rotisserie chicken but the potato salad was pretty solid. I will have to come back from the chicken.

Looking for chicken rostizado and found this place on yelp. Was making a quick and easy chicken soup as my family came down with a cold. Nothing like a good soup! Any whoo i was shredding the chicken and had a few bites and Omg! Best chicken I've had in a while, roasted nicely, the skin was crispy and was wonderfully seasoned. I had to make me a few tacos before i made my soup. All in all great roasted chicken, I would recommend to try. Salsa and tortillas served with the chicken quick easy meal.

Came here on 9/1/23 because my mom and I wanted to try something different than the usual food chains we go to. Ordered the soft taco plate and it was absolutely disgusting. Chicken had zero flavor, was super wet which coupled with the flour tortillas made for a soggy, tasteless mess. I got through one taco and tried to fix the other two but it was just unfixable, so I had to throw it away. Zero stars. On the other hand, mom's two-piece chicken was good. It came with beans and potato salad. Potato salad was decent, beans were unseasoned. Two stars. Paid $17 in total for both meals. I won't go back.

I give them a three star because they have the most terrible customer service in all L.A. County. Everyone, especially the owners granddaughter, has the most stupid teenage attitude of them all, and she's already a woman. Leaving that attitude aside, the chicken is very very delicious ? it has soooo much flavor, and it's juicy and tender.The potatoe salad tastes homemade, very tasty too. I'm not a fan of their beans and rice, so I usually just order chicken and potatoe salad. The chicken already comes with tortillas and Salsa. I like the salsa too, it's just a regular tomatoe with serranos salsa.I'll just make beans and rice at home myself.Food has a 5 Star, and I'll even throw in an extra star. Sadly, the owner has to get better people to run that place. The owner herself is very sweet. I don't know why she's not there anymore but it would be nice to see her work her place again.

I went to this restaurant on 8/03/2023. their chicken is delicious. It has good flavor. But the customer service was horrible. I was waiting a long time. I let them know I was in the restaurant nobody came out from the back I had to literally yell and that’s when finally someone came out from the back at this point I had waited and I did not purchase anything. I let them know that I was waiting, for a long time they did not apologize. It seemed that they didn’t care. I just left at this point without purchasing anything I would never go back there again.
I enjoy eating at this place, the food is delicious and reasonable. It always hits the spot.

I always come to this location the food is good and the customer service is always on point. The reason why I'm giving it a 1 star today is because I just left from the location there was 2 people ahead of me and they were really busy with the first person and the guy started getting the order for the second person and then he got mine the second person paid and then my food was ready and I paid... the guy told the cashier to charge me for 2 dinner combos and I originally order 2 lunch combos. Once I heard him say 2 dinner combos I told him I order 2 lunch combos and your charging me for dinner combos and he responded " well I already prepared it" here you go and the cashier and the guy that prepares the orders said you should've said something ahead of time in a rude tone and I responded I'm sorry I wasn't looking or else I would've said I order lunch combos ahead of time and they said well now you have to pay we can't change it plus it's just a dollar difference take your sodas. I don't care if it's a dollar difference I dint want that much food. I was very upset but whatever I paid and left. That attitude they gave me made me just not want to go back. This made me want to just go to Juan pollo their customer service is good and even if they mess up they will fix it. I want toSupport small business but with employees like that no thank you!

I went to El Pollo Loco to order 16 piece family meal. They said it will take 30 minutes. This was during lunch hours!! I went to another one nearby and they said 45 minutes! I heard my colleague say the same thing in Northern California. They are slowly going out of business with this approach. I found Pollo Dorado with better service, better food, and much better price nearby. Good for the small business owners that care!! Ever one enjoyed the food and left me no chicken
