Great friendly service I called ahead spoke to Adriana who was super helpful. I ordered for pick up and when I arrived everything was perfectly organized and ready to go it was my first time here and my family hadn't been here either . For dinner we had the Pescado zarandeado, ceviche mixto and empanadas de camarón my family and I were definitely impressed and we shall be back !!!!

Tried this spot after seeing the great reviews on Yelp! Ordered the shrimp tacos and empanadas,...I will definitely be back, look at those tacos they are delicious, I got the breaded shrimp version, plenty seasoning & good amount & size of ! Added some of the pico de gallo to the empanadas & they are great too!Neighborhood food truck supporting a local Mom & Pops business!

Mariscos El Tambo is a mariscos estilo Nayarit truck with a seating area located in the small lot behind the 99 Cent Discount Store/Diana’s Auto Registration building on N Willowbrook Ave & Winona Ave in Compton. Their pulpo zarandeado is fantastic. The octopus is seasoned/marinated so perfectly and is nicely charred and tender and just incredible. They also have some really good tacos de camarón enchilado and empanadas de camarón. And even their freshly fried chips and very spicy salsa are great. Very friendly owners as well!

Probably one of my favorite marisco spots, Mariscos El Tambo. It's located in Compton within a lot, the food truck has a seating area where you can even BYOB (bring your own beer as they don't sell alcohol here) take a seat and enjoy your food. The prices are very reasonable and my personal favorite (Pescado Zarandeado) is my go-to every time I visit. Compared to a lot of other seafood where i've been served some starved fish, each time I come here my fishes are meaty and generous. Real authentic mexican seafood within this hidden gem. Beware of the salsa they serve with the chips, SPICYYYYY lol. If you enjoy spiciness as much as me you'll love it but it's certainly not for the faint of heart. The service is fast and friendly, you'll feel right at home eating here. Support your local businesses, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, good prices, and tasty micheladas. This "restaurant" is in the backyard of a house. Parking is super limited. They are open 7 days a week. They serve mexican styled seafood. Tables are socially distanced.
