Catfish fillet is fatty. Tastes like catfish nuggets. Different ownership from when I used to patronize this business. Clean and nice people, but if you want good fried catfish fillet, go to a sit-down restaurant.

Fresh delicious fish and srimp make sir you get the Jelpeno salsa hot sauce so amazing and the cheese cake its clean inside building we love the decor very nice

The service is excellent. The gentleman who took my order was really nice. The fish was seasoned well. The fries tasted like they were hand cut. I ordered a red snapper dinner with fries and hush puppies. There are a few parking spots in the back. I think that this is my new fish spot!
Food was below average, at best and left a foul smell. Coleslaw was too sweet and totally untraditional. And to top it off, they put the heels of bread in the order I've been in Compton 69 years and I stopped eating at Matt's, almost 20 yrs and will Never do business there again!! There's much better fish in Compton and the surrounding area - we only went there because our regular business was closed. The customer service is bleak

Ordered 10 shrimp and fries meal... called later to order 2 pieces of cat sole. $20 was the total. Looked at the menu and asked why the 15.99 2-piece 8 shrimp meal wasn't offered over the phone.? The guy said because I was busy. Walked in to pick up my order. Only 1 person was sitting and waiting. Yes Foood was goodfries ??Service was terrible

Awesome fish dinners!!!! Fish is not greasy which I love. I have tried other fish restaurants around and by far This is the best. Very good and polite service! This is the fish spot for my family!!
