Local coffee shop with great coffee and pastries. Open space with enough room to hangout on your laptop and close enough to hit the skatepark right after. Tons or parking along the side of the building between the park.

4++ great neighborhood coffee shop that has fun, chill vibes, and enthusiastic service. There's fun decor inside and looks like a place where people can hang out or get some reading and/or work done. I only got an Americano or drip from here (with added cream), so I can't really speak to the food items or any of the more complex, possibly more sugary drinks here. It looks like they roast their own beans here as well. I had a lot of coffee at home at the time of my visit, so I didn't buy a bag. I might have to come back and grab one. Parking was easy to find. There's a lot on the side of the building. If the lot is full, I'm pretty sure you could find street parking close by.

Happened to be in the area one weekend and stopped by here for some morning caffeine. Pretty easy parking - there's a parking lot adjacent to the building with a long row of spaces. This place was small but definitely had cool vibes inside. There were a few tables with good seating inside. I saw some ppl with laptops and books so I guess it's probably a good place to study or get some work done. The baristas were all friendly and helpful. As far as drinks go, they had a simple menu with the usual fare of typical coffees and teas. I had the honey lavender matcha latte with almond milk and it was pretty decent.

I tried their matcha for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Definitely isn't one of those overly sweet matchas. I would get it again but my go to is still the cafe de olla flash brew and the oat slush.

The lattes with the house made syrup's are top notch. I love that their coffee is organic!

Where to start here. Been coming to Patria since it opened here in my beautiful city of Compton! Consistently my favorite coffee spot until the end of time. The cafe de olla flash brew is a staple in my life! Every barista is friendly and it truly is a family in this spot. Fellow patrons also are too! I've made very good friends and connections here over the years. The overall layout here is great too. There is local art, plants, books, whatever you can think of! Patria is great for the community and by the community. Thank you for being a staple to Compton.

Amazing! This is going to be a go to spot everytime I come home to visit from now on. Only bad thing is that I didn't learn about this place sooner, oh and that they were all out of shirts in my size. Great people and great vibe in here. Coffee delish of course!

Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time!Visited this shop for the first time on a Tuesday morning around 8 am. It has a small indoor area with seating and a parking lot on the side of the building. I was greeted by a super sweet barista who was so helpful and friendly.I ordered a lemon croissant pastry that she offered to warm up, a large black coffee (amazing!) and a bag of the same beans that was made for the drip to take home. These particular beans were so nice, smooth, buttery and most importantly not very acidic. If you are looking for good coffee beans to gift a friend or brew at home yourself, I would highly highly recommend the bag I have pictured here! I am looking forward to returning and trying the other beans they offer.

Patria coffee shop represent the true demographics of Los Angeles, the shop decor is so cute, music on point. Drinks and desserts never disappoint. They have vegan options and non dairy options.Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Parking on the side of the building, best to be there early to find a good parking spot. I really recommend this place.

This coffee shop is lovely. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is good, the people are nice. However, they have sometimes baristas working that really shouldn't be on shift by themselves. It's Valentine's Day morning and i have been waiting for 10 minutes. It's a steady stream of maybe 2 people in line, but the barista will take so long to take everyone's orders then move in slow motion. There's a bottleneck of about 5 people waiting for their drinks - some here for way longer than me. It's just very inefficient. This makes me think Patria isn't a reliable place for a quick drink and is only somewhere I can come if I'm not in a rush - which isn't realistic most mornings. Sad, because I would've been a repeat customer.

The drinks I had here were a bit on the sweet side for me. I've had the Caffe de Olla Iced, Iced Americano, and the Oat Coffee Slush. The Oat Coffee Slush was so sweet that I was barely able to get down one sip. Unfortunately I ended up throwing it away. The Caffe de Olla was quite sweet for my taste as well. Service was friendly and the ambiance itself feels very cozy, however, probably not one of the coffee shops I'll frequent often due to personal preferences.
