The menu was inconsistent with what they actually have. For instance the menu read "Tacos de Barbacoa", but when we asked the lady how many tacos were in the order, she said it was only one taco. So then why then not say so in the menu? There are a few other items listed wrong as well. Having said that, the food is delicious ?.
Onofre Restaurant makes an excellent 'birria de chivo' Sonora style. The meat is very tender and the seasoning is on point; so on point that I only had to squeeze a little lime. I ordered three tacos in the smaller tortilla and it was more than enough; their portions are generous. I also have to mention that their spanish rice has that home made taste and it's done right.
I have been to other places to eat goat birria and I was disappointed in spending my money, but this time I went to this place and I really loved their goat birria. I always look at price and quantity. They gave me almost 4 whole pieces of goat meat and I liked that, they give you 6 flour tortillas for $2. In other places they give you pure bones, and here they don't, the atmosphere and music is good ???
