Drove past here and smelled the bread in the air so I turned around to buy some . They have a decent variety of pan dulce (sweet bread), they also have cakes and flavored gelatins . The prices were fair and the bread was fresh. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

My family’s a very big fan of pan dulce … they’re also very picky with their bread. When I first took them this bread they fell in love. They always want pan dulce from this place now.El mejor pan dulce que mi familia provado. Mi familia es un gran fan de pan y este bakery es el mejor para ellos :)

I really like going to that place, it is my favorite and I recommend it, the bread is very delicious, but there is only one thing, on occasions I have been served by a Shaparrita lady with a bad manner, like she is always angry and gives things with a bad attitude. That's the other ladies. If you are going to serve your clientele, do it in a good manner. But still, I keep going there for my bread

Ordered a concha and Guayaba empanadas. Unlike the dry and hard empanadas I’ve had at other bakeries, these guava empanadas were amazing and not overcooked…they were so flavorful and soft, the concha was light, soft and fluffy, both clearly baked fresh today. Delicious!!A tiny and modest bakery, the women working the front staff were very friendly. I visited on a Tuesday morning around 9am and there was a line but it moved quickly. They have a parking lot on the side of the building. Would highly recommend this bakery, especially for their guava empanadas! 2 for $2.50.

This place used to be the best! Now the bread is made evey other day( as attendant commented) bread is dry and bland. I had a jalapeño and cheese they pull it out of the refrigerator, it was so terrible. I will never recommend or buy bread from this

Ok, so, after finally making effort to try this place out. A coworker raved about it. It's highly rated on Google. I'm like ok, let's go, I'm at the front door 6am as the metallic door is opening, a small line had already formed, all with excited faces, probably regulars I would say, so I waited patiently as I looked around and finally ordered a little bit of a lot of things. And they suffered fine the same thing. While all the breads tasted good, it had that, day old bread texture. Like - wasn't made in the last couple hours. Like it was leftover from day before or even before that, now me being a new comer, I'm wondering if everyone got the fresh stuff from the back, but either way. It would be a quality issue or a service issue for not giving me a potentially better product. So I left ok. But dissatisfied. Some of the best tasting pan dulce that seems like a day. Very unfortunate.

This bread is really good! There is always a line in the morning but usually when i go around 7 there is no line. The bread is really affordable. You can buy like 10 pieces if bread for 12 bucks. Nothing really beats that. The elotitos are really moist. Those are my fav!

Best bread ever! Great service too...the number 1 in the whole State of California. I recommend the empanadas. And Conchita's. Lots of variety of bread.

Grew up as a kid having this bread, and +30 years after its still the best. I tried from many bakeries and nothing seemed to beat the Elotes and Empanadas de Calabasa. Now my I presented the bread from here to kids and they love as well.
