I have been visiting Tamaleria La Doña for 15 years.
The freshly made tamales, my favorites are the pineapple ones 🍍 🤤 strawberry 🍓 and the corn ones, but the chicken and pork ones are also delicious... the champurrado is delicious, you have to get up early on days like Christmas... New Year's... Thanksgiving because The line is long because they are so good that they are one hundred percent recommended to something else they are at a better price we quote in other places

I’ve been going here for a few years. I haven’t found another place that beats this place. All is great except no parking. I highly recommend this place.

Tamales to die for.
I use a wheelchair. I took the bus from Downey to buy some of their excellent Tamales for the second week in a row. The best Tamales ever. I catch the bus to return back to Downey right in front at the corner. There were customers in line ahead of me. I was only in the store about 5 minutes when a terrible accident happened. It took out the bus stop, and all of the chain link fence next door at the car wash. If not for their excellent Tamales bringing in so many customers, I would have been waiting at the bus stop, and the car would have taken me out too. Last week I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Their Tamales are the best I've ever had in my 67 years. I recommend the red pork Tamales. Their masa is moist. Not dry. Plenty of flavor with a chili kick to it. I will be back for more.

We picked some of these up for a company evet and we were not disappointed. Nithing beats homemade but this is definitely better than picking them up at northgate or villartas. Must go. Will definitely go back.

La Doñas tamales are awesome, they have gotten pricey though, so I don't go there as much as I used to. I go to another spot where they're still $1.50
