Although the food and coffee were great, my husband had a disappointing experience. When he simply asked for a drink and muffin recommendation—his first time visiting—the employee responded in a rude, belittling way in front of other customers. It was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. New customers shouldn’t be made to feel unwelcome for asking a basic question.

Although the food and coffee were phenomenal, I had an unfortunate interaction with one of the gentlemen working today. When I asked for his recommendation for both a drink and a muffin—since it was my first time visiting and everything looked appealing—he became upset and made a comment that felt belittling. This happened in front of other customers and left me feeling embarrassed. I simply wanted guidance on what he recommends, as many first-time customers do. I hope the team can demonstrate more professionalism and patience when assisting new guests who are trying to learn about your offerings.

The coffee ☕️ 😍 was one of my favorite and the bread was fresh and was soft. They make the coffee super fresh with this nice coffee machine, the bakery has so much good selection and great portions for slice of cakes.
The service and atmosphere are always great! Everyone is always smiling and polite. The coffee cake is to die for. My wife loves the 3 leches cake. Every time we visit, it is pleasant. Parking is tough because the shop is on the main street. Overall, the staff is great, and the pastries are amazing! I'm glad I found this spot in the heart of Compton. Keep up the good job guys!
