The Green Chili Restaurant

This restaurant is a keeper on our list. It was clean, modern, and the staff was friendly. I ordered my Chicken Burrito and Carne Asada Burritos over the phone. They were ready when I got there. The price was average for any restaurant theses days. They provided both of us chips and salsa. I ate all of mine ( so sad , greedy !!!) but my husband has some for another meal. This place is a middle of the road spot. It's not going to blow your socks off BUT it is consistently what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The portions are well sized. The cucumber lime agua Fresca leans heavily toward the lime. I thought it was good.... however, it has a stronger flavor than what is normally present so if you don't handle sour well then this might not be for you. This is a small restaurant in a shopping center near my job. I don't know if it is family run; however, it feels like it is. The same worker always greets me and remembers my name, and the wait staff is small but efficient. The food is wonderful especially the albondigas soup and the fajitas. The horchata is really good too, they have Mexican candy for sale as well.
