If you love BBQ and you're a local or just passing through Cool, CA, you want to try Stubby's Breakfast and BBQ. It was the first place my son and I tried after moving to the area. We were so impressed, both loving their smoked meat. I was a tri tip fan only but I fell in love with their brisket. Great flavor, moist and tender! When they have ribs, love those too! The food and service is outstanding every time. The breakfast food was so yummy and the brisket in the wrap I had was the best brisket I’ve ever had. The owner was super nice as well. Can’t wait to try more of the menu and support a local business. If you’re looking for good sized portions and yummy, filling food Stubby’s is it.

Their menu features flavorful dishes such as the chicken bacon wrap with garlic fries, the Stubbys omelette with chorizo, and mouth-watering baby back ribs with spicy BBQ sauce. The chili is made with smoked tri-tip and perfectly proportioned with beans and other ingredients. The house salad is a delightful Greek-style salad with fresh ingredients. Stubby's is known for awesome barbecue pulled pork and many other choices of meats. Customers enjoy excellent choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One favorite is the build-your-own pulled pork omelette that includes olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions served with extra crispy hash browns and sourdough bread. With owners who take pride in their food, Stubby's provides an overall great experience that makes guests feel like family and keeps them coming back for more. Right now, they are remodeling, which should be done in about 40 days, but the quality and good work are expected to continue.
