Stubby’s Breakfast and BBQ

Did a to go order they were quick to greet me with a smile. The only thing I wishd was if they had asked if I needed any sauce, other than that the brisket is moist and tender and the pork butt is also moist and tender. Id give a 8/10, the side I order was garlic frys very good, a little to salty, and for the price it's an alright size portion

First, Stubby's has completely remodeled. And I don't mean just cosmetic, but full-on, professional, detailed remodel. I am not a contractor, but I do pay attention to detail; this remodel is 100% completed in such a way as to make all patrons feel like they are visiting ANY quality hometown restaurant. KUDOS to Brett and Ariel for their vision.

Second, props to Tanya for her managing the front end. She handled a very busy night effortlessly, and you can tell she is enjoying her position with great care and positivity. She is a very valued member of the Stubby's team.

Finally, props to Chris who manages the kitchen. Tuesday is prime rib night, and we are SOOOOO missed prime rib up in the divide since The Divide in Georgetown retired. The prime rib was 'chef's kiss!' It was perfectly paired with a baked potato and exceptionally seasoned zucchini squash. My only advice would be to offer creamy horseradish along with straight horseradish. Other than that, the meal was superb!

Stubby's now offers an exciting selection of local beers and wine and now has an open bar for mixed drinks. Our local town has longed to the opportunity for classy dining experience; Stubby's has answered that call, finally!

Just waiting for the grand reopening it is going to be amazing and open year-round with indoor and outdoor during the warm months. It's going to be off the chain.

Awesome barbecue pulled pork and many other choices of meats breakfasts and also all sorts of excellent choices of breakfast, beers and lunch and dinner this morning was a build your own pulled pork, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. Omelette extra crispy hash browns sourdough bread

This is a great local place that had the food out quick. The trip tip had a good smoke and was great in the scramble. The bbq sauce was tangy and worked great with the sausage gravy that was served with it. The eggs were perfect, better than I have had poached at place 5x as expensive. Hope this places keeps up the quality and good work. Looking forward to coming back for the rib eye chicken fired steak!

Everything is pretty much perfect. We love it.

I ordered take-out pulled pork, slaw, and baked beans. The pulled pork was Very lean and nicely smoked. The slaw is excellent: lite on the mayo, with slices of apple! The baked beans are the best I have ever had-- I think they were done with beer and for Sure triTip. Chris does the cooking and was Super friendly, wait staff was also great. As a taster, Chris slipped in a single piece of barbecued Briscuit--- wow, and hard to find generally. I've been to a lot of Barbeque places: Stumpys is the best around.

I am SO SORRY....but this is the type of American, heartfelt, wholesome cooking that this country has been missing out on since the 1950s. A quick stop in the heart of Cool, CA gives outdoor enthusiasts, families, couples, and an amazing group of locals access to food that fills the belly and FEEDS THE SOUL!

The chef comes out every time to say Hi and to catch up with local families - and he knows each one personally - amazing. This is a must-do for anyone in the area. Even if you're not local, make your way over for a hearty meal that won't disappoint

This is my favorite place in town. The food is great and even better to support a local business. It seems getting good service is rare these days, but not at Stubby’s. Amazing friendly service every time. If you’re driving through, I highly recommend stopping by.

Great breakfast place!! Ordered a veggie eggs Benedict, and it was the best I've had.

We all tried the special loaded hashbrowns with brisket. They were very tasty! The server confirmed that the hashbrowns were gluten free (GF). The brisket was pretty good too.
