We made a pretty big order and I was missing medium fries. Burger looked smashed together. I can deal with the food but the reason for the review is the awful service. Manager was rude. I’m a manager at a Carl’s too and this service here needs attention. Now since when are we not allowed to make a 4 piece kids meal a 6 or 9 piece? Losing sales there…. I came here bragging to my friends about what great service Carl’s gives and I find this…. Awful

Ok so this is a review for a particular visit and not this location and establishment overall. The experience was significant enough for me to feel compelled to do this despite the understanding that this isn't the generally accepted and common usage of reviews. So, this temescal rd carls has been hit and miss over the last 20 years I've been visiting it. Mostly just ok with a relative slightly above average when comparing to other locations. With that being said I'm of the opinion that food serving establishments product has went down the tube's in comparison to that of 20+ years ago. This could be a not necessarily accurate "personal" perception issue or an accurate in reality across the board issue but that is here nor there. This reviews is to express my amazing almost time traveling threw taste and eating experience that I really have only come a slight inclination of experiencing before. I made my famous star"no cheese' combo with onion rings and cherry coke order on the app and proceeded to drive thru to pick up. When I got to the window I pardoned myself and asked the girl if she could possibly assure that my onion rings where cooked well because I had received undercooked ones on the last few visits. I was given my food and my stomach decided I would park and immediately eat my food. I do realize that this(my hunger and immediate consumption could) have a significant influence on my experience but with that said. It was great. I was a kid again devouring what at different times could be accurately described as my favorite fast food. The burger even looked the same as years gone by(with the exception of the split top bun which they adopted several years back) with all the condiments including mayo and ketchup-relish in the perfect proportions the onion rings where almost unrecognizable when compared to those recently encountered. Cooked perfect and if I didn't know better I would be suspicious of them being sliced from whole onions dipped and dregged in store. Anyways the whole experience was too good to not say(write) something. For the record I've had some not too great luck at this location once or twice and before this if you asked me about carls I'd respond with meh or what are my choices? But this experience has me very(hopefully not too) hopeful for the next time I find myself with them as a choice or option.
