Good customer service. My greens had a lot of thick stems. Fish and shrimp taste like old grease. I will still give another try

My family and I drove out from Conpton Pasadena an Cerritos because we saw this place on the news. It was everything that we could imagine and More in good Southern Cooking. Every dish had flavor and was fresh. I've never had salmon that delicious.
Out of 14 people everyone gave it a five star. And the price point is good I'd much rather give my $$ to small business who care and do such an amazing job..

The food was delicious! The service was wonderful! The restaurant was clean! I had the blackened salmon, crawfish fries. The portion size was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive. The owners, Chave' & Reggie come out and greet you with their big smiles and great energy. I am definitely coming back and bringing friends!

Food is great. The fish can be alil salty but that’s a given with fried food. Just do not try and down your fish in hot sauce before tasting. Dessert is great. The staff is very friendly.

Whom ever was preparing meals at 2:46 pm needed a break. My food was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I order the filet of sole along with shrimp with was EXTREMELY over cooked. Filet of Sole was fried to the point of being crispy this ruffle potato chip. My did was Mac and Cheese which was burnt. Whomever , scooped the bottom of pan . They knew it was black and burnt. Which should not have been served to human being. My experience was disappointing.

My spouse saw this restaurant recently and wanted to try it, so we ordered take out and I must say that I enjoyed the very best shrimp I’ve ever eaten! I will recommend it to all of my friends and I’m happy to support a local Black owned business!
