I wanted to try this place for my bday so bad! Tell me why while I was in the restroom, my bf was told to wait for a party of 2 and then a couple comes in behind and they get directed to sit at the bar when we were there first. Really ruined the night and now idk if I’ll ever give this place a chance. Can’t help but think it was discrimination because he’s black with ear gauges and black nail polish. Ig this is better for the white folk of corona.

Had an outstanding lunch here today: House Salad, Penne Puttanesca, and a glass of Barbera.
Having grown up with a Southern Italian mom who showed her love through food, I can be a bit picky when it comes to Italian cooking.
It was my first time here and I am not from this area. Yet Alfredo and Domenica made me feel like family and served me food my mother would have approved.
Do yourself a favor - skip the big chain restaurant and let this husband/wife team serve you their love.

Ordinarily we're always disappointed with restaurants in Corona (because it's a food wasteland). This is literally the first time we've gone out and said 'we loved it'. This is a gem, go there! Authentic Italian flavors and a wonderful owner. We've been to Italy many times and this place is worth visiting!

My husband and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! The service was amazing, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The food was so fresh and delicious! The owner is the sweetest man, he really made our whole night amazing! We can’t wait to go back!

Just amazing. DO NOT go if you are wanting restaurant style Italian food. DO GO if you are wanting an amazing dining experience. From start to finish, staff is very attentive, food is amazing! Not cheap, but worth the price.
10/17/2024 UPDATE. Place hasn't changed. Amazing! Sea Bass was best i have EVER had. Scallops, incredibly sweet and melted in your mouth. 10 stars.

I had an unpleasant experience overall. The decorations were nice but it seemed like a place that once was a good restaurant and now in the past as it looked neglected. There was a heavy restaurant smell inside so we preferred sitting outside but then due to mosquitoes we were back inside. Waiters were friendly and talkative but not really attentive. For one, they mixed up our order, second they placed us literally next to the live singer whom then requested us to sit somewhere else. And finally the food.. the only good thing about it was its huge portion which is unnecessary for a pasta dish unless you’re sharing. I’ve ordered bucatini carbonara, they’ve replaced it with spaghetti. I’ve ate many carbonara before and never had this moldy taste and burned pork. They were nice enough to replace it with gnocchi four cheese and got tipped accordingly. But gnocchi and penne meatball were lack of taste as well unfortunately. Beef carpaccio was also premature and not curated enough. It’s barely an american style italian restaurant so the best you can get is olive garden pasta and that’s it.

Authentic Italian. Owner and daughter are amazing, friendly and make you feel welcome. It’s the closest thing to Italy we know food wise. We drive from Orange County to eat here and will always. Fine wine and beer if that’s your thing as well. Our favorite spot. You have to try the espresso !!!

This is by far the most authentic Italian restaurant I’ve been to in the inland Empire. It is family owned by an Italian family. Signore Alfredo is a wonderful host. His wife is the chef and his daughter serves in the restaurant as well. So grateful to have found this gem!
