Carne asada burrito with everything is EVERYTHING! The meat is tasty, the rice is amazing, and the homemade tortilla sets this burrito apart! Limes are always juicy and spicy onions are amazing toppings. Love their salsas. El Rey is a gem 10/10 right here is Corona

Service is good. Tacos are just ok. Prices are a little high, compared to what you'll get.

By far the best Mexican food in Corona. Asada tastes like the grill, pastor is delicious, salsa bar is fresh. This place never disappoints.

Worse place ever. Spare yourself. The lady at the cash register is rude and cannot even provide a cup with ice and stated that she has to attend to others before she can provide the ice. So is she never going to be able to provide accommodations to the customers that have a request since others will keep trickling in? Food is gross as well and I saw roaches in the kitchen.

I've lived in Corona for 15 yrs and just discovered this Gem! The quality is exceptional. There salsa bar is fully stocked and on point. The give you grill onions & jalapeños with taco order. Must try Cabeza tacos. I also had shrimp cocktail and the shrimp we're jumbo, high quality and very flavorful. Definitely more shrimp than your average. Service is fast order and wait for your food. Place is really clean. They have music in background. Drinks are pricey for one topo mineral water was $4.00. Must try! Will come back.

Fire tacos!!! Meat is actually grilled on an open flame. Not boiled and then thrown on a flat grill. Tortas are solid. Pozole is pretty good as well.

I stopped by for some tacos today, for the 1st time. The place is small, but roomy enough to get a quick bite for you and a friend. The service was very good, and attentive. I tried 3 different types of meat. The carnitas were good, but not great. They lacked the flavor im looking for in that well cooked pork meat. The lengua was just ok, but not bad. It was chunky, not shredded. It was firm, but not chewy. Its middle class tongue, and not worth the extra price. The carne asada was the best from the 3 meats, but that said, it was a little bitter from the mesquite smokiness. The biggest upside was the salsa bar, and the guac that was served over each taco. Those condiments, all you can enjoy, are what made this a decent experience. Otherwise, this place is just another "taco joint", nothing fancy, and actually a bit overpriced @ $3.25+tax per taco(lengua was more). Maybe i visited on an "off day", but i dont have the luxury of taking lunch everyday, so i took my chances lol. Anyway, nothing memorable, and will likely try a new place before coming back here, but better luck to you!

Food is good, service horrible. Went in today Sunday 4/7. It Took 45 minutes to get a burrito & 2 tacos. Their employees came in after us with a group & were served 1st. Music is so loud we couldn't hear the person taking our order. Very messy.

Great food! Went to check it out with family that was visiting and really liked it. Loved the big options on the salsa bar.

Found this place a few years back and it is the best place for Mexican food in Corona. The price is worth it for the portions and it is also very delicious. This is my to go spot when I want tacos or a burrito ???

Great tacos al pastor Service ok ! They charge me one extra taco but I called back and they return my money right away. Music is really loud I guess this why we don't eat there but food is always amazing !

This place is bomb! I come here anytime for a burrito before I get my haircut next door! I have had the breakfast burrito and burrito Al pastor like 500 times and they're always so epic!! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the reasonable prices!!

Corona has it going on for unique takes on tacos, and El Rey is worth seeking out. In a recessed mini plaza off 6th Street in the old town, my recommendation is to go before the lunch rush. I dined in both times I visited, and the quality of the food and sides is amazing. Grilled cactus and onions, salsa choices ranging from medium to quite hot, and a wide range of side veggies. It's definitely a popular place, and the steady flow of people is testimony to their quality. They were grilling a bunch of chicken the first time, and it got smoky inside until someone opened a door. My house special burrito had both carne asada and al pastor inside, and everything was perfectly cooked and assembled. I blended two salsas and loved it all. My second visit a week later was equally enjoyable and slightly more expansive. I'd like to try something from the mariscos menu in the future. Until then, go here and try a new take on old favorites.
