Went for Thanksgiving Brunch. Quality of food was not very good. Turkey carving was amateur. Restaurant and serving area was understaffed. If it was a simple option I'd request a refund.

We went to brunch and everything was exceptional. Authentic Mexican food, some prepared and some cooked to order. The flavors were spiced without being too hot. Lots of variety and festive environment. I saw families and couples. It was $100 for two people with two margaritas- kind of pricy but a nice treat.

There was no one to greet us when we walked in. We went to the bar top, thinking the service would be fast. There were about 5 people behind the bar and they weren’t busy at all. As soon as I sat down, it took them about 10 minutes before they even took my drink order. Keep in mind the whole time we had been ignored. Once we got our drinks, we were waiting for them to bring us food menus or even ask if we were going to have dinner there. We didn’t get a food menu for about 30 minutes. I had to stop one of the bartenders just to get a menu. Then they never came back to check to see if we wanted to order anything. Again, I had to stop one of them to ask if we could order some dinner. Once our order was taken, our food arrived about 20 minutes after. The corn cake was greasy and soggy. The salad just didn’t taste right. I had shared the salad with my friend. We both tried a little bit of it and it was not good. I had to ask them to adjust the check. It was the worst service and worst quality food I’ve ever had at an El Torito. I left a zero dollar tip because that’s what they deserved. Never coming back to this location again.
Our server Hector was amazing. Kept the minosas full at all times and made sure our family had everything we needed at brunch.

I like this place. The reason I brought my nephew here to celebrate his birthday day with me was because I like the atmosphere and the food. I was really disappointed with the amount of staff that was serving. Our waiter did a great job. He was juggling six or seven tables. There were management walking around three or four people three or four people that knew the staff or was the staff but were sitting in the bar area. Chatting it up and the service was slow. The food was slow and it just wasn't the experience that I have grown accustomed to. It appeared that if all of those six or seven other people including the management standing around chatting with each other and standing at the reception area and in the bar were on duty. It should have been way better. And I've been there when the food was amazing and the service was amazing. This time the food was amazing and the service lacked speed attentiveness refill just the standard stuff. I was disappointed. I'm glad it was my nephew's first time there. He enjoyed his meal and we had a great day. That was the last part of the day so he was hungry okay. We had a couple of drinks. He said that hamburger was awesome. But I know this place has done better than that day. I hope this is just a one-off.
