Dawg, c'mon... "Contaminated water was dripping directly onto fish" ?
Susan V.
Per City of Riverside: Reason for closure: Sewage backup. A floor sink was not draining properly, causing wastewater to spill onto the floor. There were three other major violations. The condensation lines at the fish display case had "excessive mold infiltration" and contaminated water was dripping directly onto fish. One handwashing sink had no water and another had only scalding hot water. Also, the facility had no sanitizer (and the owner didn't know how to wash, rinse and sanitize utensils). Among the 13 lesser violations, the ice machine was impounded due to excessive mold that required professional cleaning, the exhaust hood was excessively dirty and also required professional cleaning, utensils were being stored on the ground, and all shelving, walls, floors, display cases and carts needed cleaning as well. Closure date was March 5, 2020.

Horrible place to buy seafood no variety whatsoever

Went by here after seeing mixed Yelp reviews about them Being closed in random days when their business hours are supposed to be open. And sure enough I went be there in a Friday around 5pm when their business hours said they would be open and they were closed. I was disappointed but Yelpers did say so... So what should I have expected?

This is one of my favorite Phillipino markets! Oh they have fresh and cooked seafood! You can get tilapia, catfish, bangus, swai, scallops, baby octopus, or 2 sizes of shrimp Fresh or fried to order. They also have prepared food and sides already ready. Guess what? They have my fattest dream come true.....Fried chicken skin. Have mercy. They sell $3 plates or bags. Forget chicrones. This skin is crackin!!!! There is sweet sausage, chinese style sausage, loganzia and chicken longanzia if your in the market for sausage. Things I never heard are called: bilo-bilo, jute leaves, taro leaves, uraro, lemongrass powder, purple yam jam....so much! Give them a try sometime. The staff is super helpful too
I really hate giving low ratings but I was quite disappointed when I got to the store. Perhaps it is under a new owner? There wasn't a lot of pan de sal on the shelf, there was hardly anything in the freezer. They offer precooked foods. We bought barbecue sticks and it wasn't hot and the marinade they used didn't taste good.

Great friendly environment. Good hole in the wall mom and pop shop. If you prefer these type of environments then this is the place.

Friendly family owned. Warm welcome and ice cold coke. A pretty good recipe.
