My family and I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. We have not been to this location I would say in the past 6 months up until 2 days ago. Not sure if they are new owners, but the food definitely is different and so is the service.
We went on Memorial Day evening for dinner, there was not much left in terms of the spicy orange chicken and the fried rice. We were served what was left in the warmers and did not complain. I also ordered a fresh shrimp fried rice and Mongolian beef. Both of the rice dishes were very dry and hard (worse the next day) and the Mongolian lacked flavor. My son's tummy & mine were a little upset from the food as well, if you know what i mean...
This is the 1st time I have EVER been disappointed here with the food. Not sure i will be going back...
Good Chinese food choices. Portions are worth their price. My only complaint is that you always have to ask for teriyaki sauce when you order teriyaki chicken. Also, the employees always seem to give you attitude when you ask for extra soy sauce or hot sauce (They only put ONE packet of each in the bag).
I used to come to this place when I lived in the area, this time I was a tad disappointed, there was little food on the pans and did not look fresh, maybe because it was a bit after lunch? Not sure, the server looked in a rush and just wanted us to get done. I stilled the food, but I would recommend having good looking options and avoid rushing customers.
The Five Stars is for The orange chicken, spicy and regular. Way better than panda. The batter is light and crunchy, The chicken inside is moist and taste like chicken. You get a nice hint of sweet orange flavor and it goes with their white rice which is a little bit on the mushy side, just the way I like it.
This is a chain restaurant. There are many but I’ve only been to four. This is the second best of all the Goldens I’ve been to behind the one I frequented as a child. Golden chopsticks has hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. I love the way they make their orange chicken and the bbq chicken OR bbq pork are both super succulent. Noodles are juicy and flavorful, the rice is well balanced and not too salty. The portions are of incredible size and priced well below places like Panda Express. There’s way more bang for your buck. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. My grandma always stopped at GC afterschool and I still have those memories every time I taste this great food.

I decided to walk-in to this place for lunch because I was nearby and it had a good rating. I got a 2-item combo. I was eating through the BBQ pork and I was almost done when suddenly I got a rotten taste in my mouth and had to spit it out. I had torn outside with my drink to gargle and spit out the taste in my mouth. It almost tasted like tasting a 9v battery. I told the people in the restaurant and a gentleman kept eating the BBQ pork with a toothpick from behind the counter and speaking in Chinese to the other 2 ladies who work there. He kept saying it was good. He came to my plate to even unravel the napkin where I spit out the food. They made me feel like I was doing it all on purpose and wanted to give me more food. I refused the offer and threw away over half the food I hadn't touched. I just couldn't eat anything else. The taste in my mouth is atrocious. Then they gave me back my money but not the extra I was charged for an ATM sale. I recommend no one eat here.

Been coming here for many years and the food is always good. Just service was really off today with the cashier. I asked for 2 extra teriyaki and sweet/sour sauce prior to paying. After paying $52 and even tipping, we only received 1 teriyaki sauce. So I asked for the extra sauces and was told they were 25 cents each. Long story short, I paid for them and wasn't even given forks. So the cashier insisted we had forks, which we did not and was very reluctant to giving us forks. So service was definitely not on point today.

My go-to spot when craving chinese! The best place in Corona, CaliforniaHere are some of the items I've personally tried:BBQ chickenSpicey or regular Orange chickenPineapple beefString bean chickenKung Pao chickenDelicious chow mienFried riceWonton SoupVeggie Egg rollsChicken egg rollsTeriyaki chickenSteam vegetablesThey are all scrumptious. My two favorite items are the BBQ chicken and the spicey Orange chicken. Every time that i go now, i just make it a 3 item entree - so i can try different items lolMy girl is vegetarian, and she always gets the vegetarian Kung Pao with no meat. They make it in the back FRESH for her and it always comes out yummy! There's plenty of parking in the shopping center. You can also call ahead and place your order.
Vegetarian options: Try the Kung pao chicken with no meat substitute for ALL vegetables instead. Im sure you can ask for other entrees as well, just substitute the meat for Broccoli etc
Parking: There is plenty of free parking
