HI BBQ CHICKEN - Korean Restaurant

from reception to delivery, absolutely TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. Food was sub par, not good for the most part except for the spam musubi which was borderline ok. The cashier was aggressive and so rude regardless of my kindness until disrespect was shown, and I was still civil and polite. The food also took over an hour even though it was empty and on top of that he got the order wrong! He said it would be 25 minutes. I also have a strong belief that he acted towards me and other costumers in a certain way due to our race. Anyways, do not recommend. (Also fried rice tasted and smelled very old.)

A place that keeps a warm atmosphere for their customer, love it has clean each area and walls neatly decorated. Service was prompt and empathic with my family. All wings well fried, and soy wings (with fries) a MUST!

Food was absolutely delicious… got chicken katsu, hai noodles, fried wings, soy wings, french fries, and sushi. Went with family from Korea and they approve across the board for its authenticity. Would definitely say they’re known for the first items I mentioned, sushi not to die for. Service was great! but nobody else was in the restaurant… makes me wonder why no one knows this gem of a place. Anyways, all 5’s across the board, except the atmosphere, feels kind of like someone’s house and not in the best kind of way. Great experience!

I was pleasantly surprised by our first visit to this restaurant. I ordered the tenderloin crispy chicken which is served with french fries and I ordered a side order of vegetable egg rolls, kimchi, and pickled radishes. The chicken was fried perfectly light and crispy. I'd ordered this to be spicy but found that it didn't seem very spicy at all. The fries, egg rolls, kimchi, and pickles all tasted fresh, crispy and delicious.
The service was very good.
There is a good sized bar here and I wonder how it is for happy hour.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and will definitely be visiting again soon!

We happened into this restaurant on the way to the movies. We were looking forward to having some Korean Korean Hawaiian mixed flavor. We ordered the musubi, the chicken plate, and we're looking at some sushi. In the meantime there was only one guy working there and it was very very strange. After we ordered which seemed almost normal even though he was not friendly and almost seemed like he did not understand the language but we could not be sure. So we went and sat down again waiting to go to the movies and we waited 25 minutes. At that time the lady in front of us was still sitting down waiting patiently also and she said yeah I've been waiting here a while. So I said nicely to the guy in the back excuse me sir excuse me, is our food almost ready because we have a movie. He looked at me with a Blank Stare turned around and walked away. So I can continue to ask him excuse me excuse me is our food almost ready or no? He continued to ignore us. The lady now was getting upset and he finally brought her food out. She was on a cane so I asked her if she needed help out to her car which she did, so when I got back in I said to the guy is our food almost ready we have to go as our movie starts in 15 minutes. He continued to ignore us very strangely so I slap my hand on the counter to see if he could hear me. And I finally saw him throwing things around in the kitchen and said dude we have to go I would like my money back exclamation point. At this point he came around the counter and I said what is your problem do you not understand me or is there something going on here? He said oh so sorry so sorry sir you must be alright sir I've been here throughout lunch and its 4:30 now sir you must be alright so sorry so sorry yelling at me. So I yelled back that he needs to step the heck away from me and give me my money back. He acted very aggressive and weird. We will never go back to your restaurant and we will tell everyone we know what happened. It was aggressive and crazy I don't know if he was about to have a nervous breakdown, I don't know if he's the owner, but he was the most rude employee of any restaurant I've ever been to literally in my whole life. Very very strange!!!!!!!!! If he is not the owner I would love to hear from the owner. This was insane. My wife was begging me not to engage with this guy as she knows what would happen. But it was horrible and we left very angry and hungry. We had to have hot dogs at the movies, thanks!!!!!!!

The wings are something special. If you like PERFECTLY crispy wings and soy glaze, this is the spot.

Hole in the wall type of place that serves a variety of dishes. I got the beef kimbap and fried chicken drumsticks and my mom had the soy wing lunch combo. All of it was delicious and we left very satisfied. We will definitely come back.

Love this place. Wait times for your food can be hit or miss, but the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Get the Hawaiian noodles, the spicy soy wings, the spam masubi, and and the fried Korean chicken!

The owners take care of you and the food is always great! So many options from Bento boxes to sush, crispy wings to ramen, also good selection of boba drinks, sake, Korean, and Japanese beer, plenty of seating and always clean.

this place is so so so so good. we ordered the tteokbokki (PERFECTLY spicy), california roll, and a mix matched 5pc soy wings 5pc crunchy wings, and it was all so delicious. we will definitely be coming back.

Soy wings, crunch chicken, taekboki are my favorites. They also have Ramen! Owners are very sweet as well
