Stopped by to pick up dinner on the way home for my wife and me. We got the Mini Pack and added a large Orange Bang. Juan Pollo usually serves the most moist and flavorful chicken, which is why we’re regulars. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was a disappointment.
The chicken was incredibly dry—the driest we’ve ever had—and shockingly small, as if it had been left out too long or reheated from the previous day. It lacked the quality we’ve come to expect.
On the upside, the sides (beans, rice, salsa, salad, and potato salad) were good, as usual. However, the tortillas were, as always, awful —we never eat them because they just aren’t enjoyable. To top it off, the Orange Bang was watered down, which added to the letdown.
Overall, it seems like we just had bad luck tonight.
There are chicken places all around the area but the one that stands out is Juan Pollo. Even their sides are really tasty.

Ordered food from the store through DoorDash opened up the bag as soon as it was delivered, and there was no less than eight flies in the bag of chicken. Called the store and they said there’s nothing they could do since it came from DoorDash. I am calling the health department and we will never be eating there again.

I came today to get lunch for my husband and I and I have to say the service was bad the lady at the cashier was so rude she kept going back to the kitchen when she was talking my order and kept telling me she couldn’t get my order like I wanted it. As for the food also horrible the burrito I got for my husband was bad I should have ordered a bone burrito instead of chicken since that’s what they gave him. There was more bone than chicken. And my bowl was exactly the same. It looked like they just chopped the chicken with everything and the bone and fat because there was hardly any chicken. It was by far the worst chicken bowl I’ve had. We are definitely never going back here.

I live in Riverside. As soon I come home from a long drive. I notice I didn’t get rice instead I got potatoes salad. My children are so hungry. I left a box of chicken without rice. I told the potato salad and second box of chicken to fix my order. When I got to the place the rude worker told me I can change my cold chicken for a hot chicken. I was upset with this customer service experience. I did got my rice. When I prompt to tell him I’ll leave a negative review due his poor customer service. He told me go ahead and do it. I was so angry and left without asking for the manager. I should had ask for the manager to help me out instead of him. Anyway check twice for your food or else you will get incorrect meal for your family.
