Good friendly service. The venue is perfect for regular dining BUT too small for a brunch experience. Brunch selection was ok, nothing special. Atmosphere is cool, music and skulls. Dine in YES, brunch NO.

Love the atmosphere. We went during Taco Tuesday, where the deal was $1 per taco. For the price, it is epic, but I wish there were more variety for the taco.

My husband and I went there for happy hour. The service was great. Very friendly staff and quick to get drinks out, food was delicious and great rates. All items on HH are $8. Only down side was the music was super loud in the bar and the lights in the bathroom were distracting. More of a club feel. We will definitely go back but dine in the main restaurant.

We came to Kalaveras for Happy Hour while in town visiting from Phoenix. The Happy Hour is amazing--great food and drink prices (including daily specials) and portions. Our server Edilia was friendly and attentive. The food came very quickly. We enjoyed the graffiti decor and music. Would definitely return!

This place is a joke I came in for taco Tuesday and the waiter took my bill which was 89.00 I gave 100.00 and she never gave me my change back I was waiting for over 10 minutes signaling her eye balling her and nothing I never said keep the change either that's very unprofessional of her to think that I was not going to tip her so that's why she kept my change from my hundred dollars. I was going to leave her more but since she took my money and never came back, she got what she got if you want your money took without asking this is the place for you. I will not be returning. also, every time I come in here for Hongo tacos, which is the vegan option for the mushroom tacos there's always a different price on it every time I come in here sometimes it's $.99 sometimes it's $3.50. They're confused they don't know what they want to charge people for.... no where on the menu it says the mushroom tacos are not included in the 99c tacos only the fish and shrimp tacos it says on the advertisement on the front of the building but everytime I come in it's a different price for the Hongos tacos

Our return to Kalaveras marked another exceptional dining experience. The cuisine, as before, surpassed all expectations. Our server, Edilia, demonstrated remarkable attentiveness, ensuring our every need was met. A word of caution for those less tolerant of spice: it's advisable to inquire about the spice level before ordering, as I discovered to my surprise. Despite my oversight, the dish was still exceptional, albeit fiery. The ambiance is undeniably impressive, though individuals over 45 may find it beneficial to bring reading glasses, as the lighting, while complementing the decor, can make menu reading a tad challenging. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly endorse a visit to Kalaveras for those who have yet to experience it. With two outstanding visits under our belt, we eagerly anticipate returning for more.

Went there today for the first time. Soleil was our waitress and I can't remember being treated better by a wait staff. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The biggest impression was that the food was VERY fresh. The guacamole was delicious and served with chicorones (spelling?) which was different and very tasty. I had the Kavlar bowl with shrimp. Again, I was hit by the freshness. It was a generous bowl. The lime rice was perfect. It was fluffy and favorable. Something I noticed was that while the wait staff was seen chatting with customers during their serving duties, I never saw them chatting with each other. If a mess was left on the floor from customers there was someone sweeping it up as soon as the table was empty. Again, another thank you to Soleil. I was there with a friend and we chatted for a long time. She was always available but never obtrusive. I will definitely go back.
