The food is excellent, especially the sabzi korma. We tried another local Persian restaurant, the kabob portion was much smaller, and the sabzi was very water down.

Rumi's recently catered a 75 person event for me using catering menu #4 in addition we also ordered desserts. All items were cooked to perfection and delivered hot and fresh! The Rumi's team set all the dishes into their positions right on time. They are all real professionals! If you are having a large gathering, rest assured Rumi's can handle your order. I had a terrible frightening experience with this restaurant on Motherâs Day. The owner, an older man yelled in my face and placed his hand in my face telling me to âget outâ! Another older woman who I was speaking to did nothing about it. I would hate for anyone else to be treated this way, this is a terrible way to treat customers.
I had placed an order via their online system which was taking orders, I also received a confirmation and the funds were processing in my bank account. A meal for 8 people. When I arrived to the restaurant 45 minutes later they told me they were not taking online orders because they had called DoorDash that morning to not take orders so if I wanted my food I had to wait for them to make it. The older woman showed me her tablet that she had not confirmed my order. I asked her why she didnât call me to tell me they werenât going to prepare it, I asked if they could provide the food as soon as possible, they wanted me to order all over again, pay again, and contact DoorDash myself. I told them it wasnât my mistake, as a customer I did what I was supposed to do. Thatâs when the owner came from the kitchen and started to scream at me and if that restaurant wasnât full of people he probably wouldâve hit me. I obviously left with no food for my family and no desire to support such a terrible family restaurant. I donât care how good your food can be you must treat people with respect.
