Lovely Bakery, have been a customer for over 5 years now. It all started with our wedding cake. Made the mistake of trying a different bakery because we wanted cupcakes today. Never again, we love our tasteful Cakes, not just the sweets but the customer service also.
Tasteful Cakes was the assigned wedding cake vendor for The Hacienda in Santa Ana. We spoke with Patty on how we wanted the cake to look and also sent her the wedding invitation for inspiration. Dark green was a main color so I was a little disappointed in the outcome of the cake as they placed green roses alongside the other colored roses. The green roses on the cake really ruined the aesthetic as its not a real flower type and it was such an ugly shade of green. I give it a 4 star because all of my guests said the cake tasted great but I wish a little more care went into the final look.

But between running events and planning the party, we didn’t have much time (or creative vision) to spare—so we put our trust completely in their hands. And let me just say: they absolutely nailed it.
Not only was the cake stunning—like, jaw-droppingly gorgeous—but it tasted even better than it looked. We chose marble with vanilla and vanilla with fresh strawberries, and both were total hits. Moist, flavorful, and honestly some of the best cake we’ve ever had.
It ended up being one of the highlights of the entire celebration. Guests couldn’t stop talking about it, and neither could we. From the flavor to the flawless design, it was pure magic. We’re so grateful for their talent and care—and we’ll 100% be back for the next big moment.

For 20 years, I used to get all my cakes from another bakery and they went out of business after Covid. I was so distraught while searching for a new bakery. To my absolute pleasant surprise I found ‘Tasteful Cakes’. They were not only 10 minutes away from my home, but they met every expectation that I held onto from my previous bakery. I have a lot of birthday parties, and I love their cakes. Light, and VERY tasty! Their designs are also fantastic! People always ask “where did the cake from?” 😋
I could go on & on, but I won’t. Just try them you won’t be disappointed. Prices are comparable to most other places, cakes are just more expensive than they used to be. But, isn’t everything! 😏

Stopped in to get a cake for a birthday. Worst tasting cake. Whipped frosting was just terrible and inedible. Cake itself was chocolate and white cake, no flavor and ran into their whipped cream or frosting that continued to taste awful. Trashed. I don’t recommend. Thank goodness his grandma came through with SusieCakes.
This place saved my birthday last minute. Made me my preferred cake in 30 minutes - thank you thank you! 10/10

I purchased a Birthday cake for my sister that was not only Beautiful, but DELICIOUS! Sarah was EXTREMELY helpful & patient in helping me design the cake & she was who decorated this Beautiful cake. Aside from Sarah the rest of the bakery staff was super nice & helpful as well! I was very pleased & everyone at the party raved about the cake. I will most definitely be ordering more cakes from here in the future. Thanks again!!
